I saw today that Tony Gwynn has passed away from a type of cancer. This is an extremely sad day for Baseball! A 338 Batting average and a class act!

    RIP

Being a big baseball fan in San Diego and watching the Padres, Tony Gwynn was a big part of my life. He was one of the last loyal franchise player in any sport. Tony played for San Diego his entire MLB career. All for the love of his city and the game. Not many people can do that today. He was an inspiration to many.

Rest well Tony. You will not be forgotten.
