My SH Fang/Joker arrived today, and damn fast too! He's fairly awesome but I am disappointed that there's not a loose spike thing for him to hold/throw and what's with those hips? I thought they were the old style and the new style are the kind seen on Decade.
I wish they'd use the style of hips that decade, kuuga, and agito use more often. Not necessarily true. Ozu uses the ball socket joint and his actual suit is seamless more like Kuuga and agito's suits, but he didn't get the same kind of hip.
That's what I am saying. Double has those ridges and that triangular cut for his hip joint so the "Type A" style would work better than a ball joint. For OOOs, besides the green line, there really aren't any major sculpting details so a "Type B" joint could work. Edit: Scratch that. I thought OOOs had the Type B joints.
And I'm glad they don't. I much prefer the type 1 extending joint hips. You get a much nicer range of motion out of them. In any case, I just wanted to mention that KIT has put out another subbed episode of the original Kamen Rider. I'm really glad they're doing this as it's a fantastic show. I'm greatly enjoying it so far and hope KIT can keep it up for the full 98 episodes. I honestly never expected to like Hongo/Rider 1 as much as I do, but the guy is great. I'm going to really miss him when Ichimonji takes over.
Just started watching it tonight. It's pretty awesome, even though the special effects are beyond laughable.
Kuuga and Agito both have all-black hips and upper legs. OOO has green vertical stripes that would be broken apart by the Kuuga/Agito ball joint.
It was 40 years ago. You can't really expect awesome CGI and pyrotechnics. Foam, stop motion, and reversing a shot were top of the line for a weekly tv show.
I watched that first episode of Kamen Rider 1, it was a little too much for me. I like Black and a few of the other older shows but 1 was just way too much also that helmet bugs me, the red eyes arent actually the eyes. idk why it just really kills any sense of realism for me noticing that

What is it about OOOs medals that makes them so bloody hard to find? Were Gaia memories as hard to obtain?
The Gaia Memories didn't have a catchy theme song. "Count the Medals 1, 2, and 3" is as addictive as "Gotta catch 'em all".
Look at this way, You ain't watching A Kind of Magic, Braceface, Fanboy & Chum Chum, What's With Andy, or any other dreadful Tween show. Anyway, I did watch the first 3 episodes and I loved it! I didn't mind the special effects and the monster suits, after all, its from 1971, a year or so before Science Ninja Team Gatchaman & Mazinger Z, and I love theme song quite well, though I prefer the 2000 remix more than the one that will be used for the upcoming movie: Let's Go Kamen Riders. Sorry KR Girls! But Rider Chips with KR1 himself: Hiroshi Fujioka/Takashi Hongo just smacked you over the head with a crock ala Akiko from KR W/Double!
