If a figure is popular enough to sell out five or so re-releases then BANDAI wants to keep that gravy train running. They might not release the old mold but I'd bet they would start a whole new mold for it.

So someone wants me to make an offer on a Double Driver they're selling. Missing the Heat Memory and Maximum Drive slot but otherwise in perfect condition with box.

What would be a good non-insulting offer to make?

That seems low, considering the $200 price tags on ebay. Are the Maximum Drive slots really worth that much?

Trust me though I'd love to get it at that price.

Actually I think this theory has been debunked a while ago. The Saint Seiya collectors have seen so many reissues that once the "stars" which are starting to look more like circles... just reset with a different shape or color.

Well, it's not even the complete package like you said, so I don't really think it's worth as much as Ebay is asking for it...that's just my opinion though.

Offered $60 shipped. Loose Maximum Drive slots are apparently impossible to find. Can always buy a Lost Driver to take care of that though.

No. If you wanted stands, you absolutely positively had to get the first editions. IXA may have been able to get its stands in the reissue, but never the Hoppers.

The "stars" are not a feature of the Figuarts line. They're a standard among every single Bandai toyline. There is no such thing as a SHF that came out before the four-dots system existed.

Since I don't own a first-edition V3 myself (maybe I used to, forget which version), I'm not sure why Bandai would omit that detail. It may have been intentional, to keep the figure clean of as many details as possible, but Bandai scrapped the idea later. Or, you'd only be able to see it if the figure was taken apart.

That is also not how it works. Bandai has used this system for decades, and the dots do not mean that a mold only has that many opportunities to be issued. The best example of this are Saint Seiya Myth Cloth figures, which have used certain molds so often that the dots were replaced with tiny triangles.

Do you guys think 56 shipped is a good price for an Souchaku Henshin Climax Form?

They're out. HLJ is on the "discontinued" status, while CSToys Japan has the riders, Sieg and the Phillip memories (not Shippuu).

Hopefully HLJ goes back up since they had a pretty damn good price. If anybody on here dosen't want any of the memories (mainly Shotaro & Phillip) and ended up ordering the set I'd be glad to take them off you're hands. I'll probably put up a want thread on HJU but thought I might as well ask here.

I'm actually not sure what's up with the listing on HLJ, they've never stocked Gashapon memories before, only candy toy, and the listing says 8 pieces which is way off.

Yesterday I received my SHFiguarts CycloneJokerXtreme, and I am in awe of just how articulated the figure is. The figure is amazing.

ok, two weeks ago i order the lost driver for a costume, and now it is time to order the skull magnum......one problem, it just went on discontinued status on HLJ.....SON OF A B!!!!

so now i got to find a skull memory one way or an other.....i could go the ebay route, but that turns what would of been about $60 to an $100+ toy......ugh

I kept telling myself I'm not gonna spend money on memories, just Figuarts, I can't fall down that rabbit hole.

24 hours later and I've bought a Double Driver, Candy Memories Vol 2, have had the T2 memories on Preorder since Sunday, and have Oki working on finding me a Lost Driver.

    FML.....
