GO GO GO
S.H.Figuarts Kamen Rider Kickhopper
Can somebody explain to me this "star" system?
On the back of Figuarts, there's a mark with stars/dots. When a Figuart runs out, that mold is never going to be reused. No Figuarts have reached that yet.
GOT IT! Thanks for the heads up
I have no idea who Kickhopper as I have yet to watch the show but all i know is that the asking price for him is amazingly high for a regular release! If I can find him when he's out, and I like his character then I may get him!
Ah, so an indicator of mold degredation then? Thanks, is it somewhere on the Figuart itself or on the box?
its on the figure itself, usually the lower back.
bought a V3 recently he doesn't have any dots/stars, one of the oldest SHFs but still very cool!
Hellz yeah. I can rest easy now.
Until the first week of March when we have to do this all again I'm sure.
What are the June releases anyway?
If no mold has reached that point, then HOW do you know that will happen?
It's a wide-spread theory that I think is bullshit, but whatever. Any explanation is better than having none. I personally think it's just to tell which run the toy is from.

They haven't said just yet. I'd personally guess at least Birth and ShaUTa. Maybe Shadow Moon, unless they give him exclusive treatment.
I'm wondering about that too. I'm thinking Bandai will just produce us a new mold of the toy like what they did with New Den-O?
Thanks! But what a coincidence - I just watched the episode in which he made his appearance in Kabuto!
Don't really like the main character but the storyline and some of the riders' designs are interesting and nice!
I like Kabuto's design - he looks so metallic but Drake's design looks weird. I suspect that due to the design on the right side, mobility could be restricted on the SH Figuart toy?
I also don't quite like how they er, de-value the Bee? Its like almost anyone can be the Bee?
Please...don't let ShadowMoon be an exclusive...
The seas of the world shall run red with blood if Shadowmoon becomes Exclusive. By Gorgom I swear it!
It's a Golgom Plot!
After the hell that's been the first week of January and the past two days...I think I'd prefer him to be exclusive at this point. Hella easier to get a preorder on exclusives these days than mainline figures
I highly doubt that. (Old)New Den-O was a really....REALLY expensive exclusive. I think the amount of fan letters BANDAI got (if they do read letters/e-Mails) about it would have made them decide to re do it.

I love that about The Bee. Don't know why, but I do.
So what are TV-Nihon's subs for Kabuto like?
....I kind of have to agree there. Now that I know who are the middlemen who will keep things square, I'm not too worried about them going exclusive...Much. I dunno. I tend to buy two of each figure if its something I absolutely adore and is within my price range. Henkei Prime, Kamen Rider Black, DCUC "Crimebuster" Batman (the Neal Adams blue one) etc etc. I'm strictly non-MIB but I have this f'ing weird luck with figures where I can pick the most visually solid of the bunch and still have something bad. Case in point: my Black which I display has terribly loose ankle joints which makes for unstable posing. Same effing thing happend to my MOTUC Skeletor.
Long story short....If I have to pay maybe 80 bucks local currency to get an exclusive of uncertain quality I might not be inclined to get two. If it were available in special hobby shops I might be able to weasel in a favor or two (well...so far thats only worked for the Gatack I got) but Figuarts clear the shelves rather fast.
I got to agree with you that New Den-O is popular.I was actually thinking of picking up the imagins but then I realised that the individual forms are actually the imagins themselves! For example, Den-O sword form is actually Momo.
One thing about Bandai is that I noticed that they do listen to their customers.
IMO Bandai Japan is definitely the no.1 toy company for me. Sure they're not perfect but the range (from Ultraman vinyls to SOCs) and QC is pretty decent.
So what's your take once the "dots" disappear? Will Bandai really discontinue the figure?
I get what you mean about the Bee...and its one of my fave design suits in the series.
I find the subs for Kabuto decent...well, at least its understandable compared to some of the HK subs? Do you understand Japanese? If not, how did you watch the show?
I would say get the SH Den-O forms if you haven't got them. I don't own them but I have heard some positive things about them.
Yeah. Apart from HasTak (then again that is probably biased).
The theory makes sense. I think after 0, they will be gone for good or not to be reissued for at least 5 years.
He's actually my least favourite (design wise).
Why do you think I have watched the show?
