I'm a little late to this line (almost 8 years!?!), but I just finished watching Gaim for the first time and had to at least pick up some of the Arms Change figures. For a gimmick line, these are incredibly impressive. Not exactly figuarts levels of posability, but enough to be dynamic. The armor also didn't turn out as bulky as I initially thought. Of course, being called "Arms Change," I had to entertain the gimmick. I love that every new figure you pick up adds to the play value of the previous figures you already own. Now to just pick up the Energy Riders and Kachidoki...
Finally got around to purchasing a couple Figure Rise kits. Kuuga came in today, so I build that real quick. I thought I ordered the Decade ver, but I guess I did not. I think I prefer this one over the glossy Decade version. Even though its Bandai, the quality doesn't seem up to par with their Gundam kits. I think I'm going to have to glue some parts. I don't like the stickers on the driver. Like I wish they offered an optional driver that had a flat section for the stickers. All in all, I do still like it. Its almost like a bigger SH Figuarts. I think the only thing lacking are wrist articulation. Decade should be here tomorrow, which is the one I'm looking forward to most. I do hope they get around to making Diend... and to round out the group, Kiva-la as well. Would also be down for the Complete forms as well. IDK if I'll get any other Riders, but at least I know what to expect now from these kits.
Figure Rise Decade came in today, so I built that asap. Took a bit longer to put together than Kuuga. Those stickers, geez. I didn't use the ones that are supposed to go over the lights on the DecaDriver. That just wasn't going to work for me. As I said in the last post, sections like that are going to need to be flat if a sticker is going there and expected to stay. Something about the lower half just seems off to me. No toe articulation which seems weird considering the Kuuga, an older kit, has it. All in all, I think my hopes were set too high for this. I think I like Kuuga a bit more. Heres a quick shot with LC Ranger Slayer.

Even with the updated aspects Faiz and Kabuto are sadly way behind the other FRS Kamen Riders. The amount of colour-correcting silver stickers on Kabuto are especially obscene, like the stickers on the torso and back of the head.
