So... perhaps I've missed some bit of news somewhere, but does it seem like the RiD toyline is, ah, lacking in Decepticons? I mean, yes, we're getting quite a few at the Legends scale, and the Deployer-class, but it looks like the only Warrior/Deluxe we know of so far is Steeljaw.

Is this going to change? Or is the Warrior-class going to be pretty much all Autobots?

AoE was also surprisingly lacking in Decepticons, yeah. I'd half buried that memory. Though AoE was relatively light on the whole, it felt like. But good guys need bad guys to fight, so it's very disappointing.

...Did I not put this in toy discussion? Could have sworn I had.

That's certainly my hope. In the meantime, I will likely be hedging my bets with Legion-class toys.

honestly, the way rid is formatted allows for great expansion of the decepticon army. you cant make countless deceptions, just incorporate them in the alkamore's manifest and -boom-

Indeed. And the lack there of is especially depressing given the fantastic range of designs we've already seen in show.

I think it's been confirmed a while back that we'll be seeing more Decepticons in the Warriors line awhile back starting with Fracture.

Younger kids disproportionately prefer good guy toys over bad guys. My four-year-old always opts to get the good guys first, for pretty much any toy line. Bad guys are secondary, though still important. But he's perfectly fine having it four or five on one.

Warrior Class is pretty much an afterthought. The 1-steps and 3-steps are now the main toylines Hasbro is pushing outside of Generations. Then add in the fact that apparently kids don't buy villain toys, and we end up with next to no Warrior Decepticons. I have to wonder what kids do with their good guy toys without bad guys to fight.

Hasbro did confirm "more" Warrior Decepticons at Toy Fair, so there's that. Store listings have shown evidence of a Warrior Fracture coming at some point at least. By Wave 3, the line has already run through all the Autobots, so it seems like they wouldn't have much room for anything else but Decepticons going forward, save for some redecos.

Nice, but what's the step count, Scoop might be to complicated and competently engendered for Warrior.

Isn't there a rumor of a Megatronus Warrior too.

There as, yes, but I'm not sure if he counts since we don't know yet if the toy represents a truly "reformed" Megatron.

Then again, that's probably just splitting hairs at this point. :V Anyhow, I'd be surprised if they didn't at least try to make Warriors for the whole "main" Decepticon group. With Steeljaw and Fracture confirmed, that just leaves Clampdown, Thunderhoof, and Underbite...Underbite and Clampdown would make for really interesting Warriors, since we rarely get non-humanoid Deluxe-sized guys.

It's terrible. My first one broke so I tried buying a new one thinking it would work.
    It didn't.

They're down at the bar drinking their sorrows away with the AOE Decepticons.

    EDIT:

Underbite is awesome... as long as you never touch it. The spring mechanism goes FUBAR within a few transformations. I just leave it on my desk in its cute beast mode.

Hasbro should just retool Generations Scoop for Thunderhoof :lol
