Didn't Grimlock say something about picking on someone his own size when he went after Underbite? He implied it was about Underbite going after humans and those weaker than himself with that line. That and for the sake of getting into a fight.

As for Fixit, I just kind of assume he's been in space, practically alone too long and may have some maintenance issues that were not at all helped by the crash.

Grimlock doesn't have a riff with Underbite, he just attacked him because Underbite beat up his stasis pod and he was itching for a fight anyway.

I really want to see a counter at the bottom of each episode with Underbite tallying up how many times he mentions how he "ATE A WHOLE CITY".

Heck we may be looking at "I killed Cliffjumper" levels of self boasting.

That was literally the exact same thing I was thinking. Like, right down to the Starscream/Cliffjumper comparison!

I thought these first two episodes were fun, but not great. I liked the bots well enough even if it feels a bit, same old, same old. Humans, I'm much less interested in, but they could always be worse. Biggest pro to this show is that it's actually colorful. Love that they're moving away from Prime's limited color palette.

Underbite was fun, and while I'm normally opposed to the monster of the week formula, I think a little adventure like this every week is a breath of fresh air after Prime (Which I did like). Sideswipe and Strongarm are probably my favorites thus far, but I hope they develop more as time goes on.

I love Sideswipe line about Grimlock.

Grimlock: "I am not a criminal. At least I don't think I am."

Sides: "That what they all say."

I like what I've seen so far, and really like Steeljaw. It does look like they're going for the Decepticon monster-of-the-week style, though.

I think a certain voice director has improved his skills since Prime. I've noticed Optimus/Peter expressing a little more in his tone of voice, though he still sounded a little grave.

I loved how Optimus actually smiled. He seemed really proud of Bumblebee.

I'm a huge tokusatsu fan, so this actually excites me, especially since, three episodes in, they're already nailing it.

Alright, I came in with very low expectations, and I came out absolutely hooked. It really reminds me of Animated, good fun, but it's not outright lol randumb, and not try-hard serious like Prime was. I love how the characters bounce off each other. Grimlock is my favorite, odd to say this, but he's just so cute.

    Underbite is amazing, though.

    I ATE A WHOLE CITY

YOU DON'T KNOW ME, UNDERBITE, THE GUY WHO ATE A CITY?

I expected him to be a dull, mindless monster, but holy shit, he's fantastic.

On the whole a good start to a new series. Plenty of tongue in cheek moments but seeing a human reaction to a transformation for the first time reminded me why I enjoy the franchise so much.

That was your issue? Mine were why would a cybertronian car have:

    a) seat-belts?

    b)human sized seats?

If I had any skills with Photoshop (or for that matter, if I HAD Photoshop), this is where I would post a picture of the Ancient Aliens guy with Sideswipe's head saying, "QUINTESSONS".

Well the inconsistent scaling is a bigger issue. Underbite changed size quite a bit according to what he was next to.

As for sear belts perhaps minicons are the answer.

Previous Aligned fiction did establish that Seekers had cockpits, and that it was a holdover from the Quintesson era. So it's not out of the question that other bots had a similar set-up.
