there's a problem with how i've been doing the hands, the fingers have no side movement. so if magnus or omega wanted to do the vulcan salute for some reason, they wouldnt be able to :(  but oh well, theyre good enough as they are :confused2

the hand gif looks much better now, thanks bluestreak~

aaand :lol , im not sure how my computer hasnt blown up either :D  it's the same old 2.8ghz machine i've had for years (ignoring the time i had to replace the motherboard cos i scratched the northbridge when trying to install a fanless cooler for it.. i got sick of hearing the thing chugging and grinding like a um.. something that chugs and grinds.. a broken steam train? :lol  )

just finished the arm panels, finally. ive been putting those off forever..

i fixed the g1 magnus head, i think it looks cool on there.. im so tempted to not model the ugly RID version head, but i will.. i just dont have to like it :lol

im so close to finishing this thing. ive been working on it in different files, due to the polycount, the computer slows up SO MUCH when everything is all in one file, but tonight i combined the legs/omega boots/rear of trailer pieces, the arm pieces, and main torso together into the one file, finally.. the polycount is almost 500k, prime is almost 300k.. i dont know how the computer is going to handle omega :(

does anyone have good pictures or links to good pictures of the master sword? i need reference for modeling it :)

messed with the design of the head a bit to make it kind of a mix of G1 and RID - lengthened the side 'ear' type parts and made them grey, kept the mohawky thing, and g1 face shape.. definately not the fugly RID head now :D

and just cos, here's the underside of the truck -

all finished, now.. cept the ugly weapon thing and master sword :D

    Now :stick:

    THAT is soooooo AWSOME!!!! :thumbs2:

I like the little shoulder lamps. It's little details like that that make rendering the toys much more fun.

finished these parts of the weapon :)  now for the piece that connects them, and the blue launcher part..

oh, and that cool thing i mentioned worked out just fine.. ive made the weapons detachable from that bar piece, so they can be used as hand guns. check it out here - cos its too big to link to directly

    :confused2
