Found these in a Müller store yesterday - don't think I heard about them before. They are like RPMs, Matchbox/Hot Wheels sized, made out of metal it seems. Like those "bigheaded" 30th anniversary toys, they too seem to have been produced by another company at Hasbro's permission, this time it's the hilariously named "Dickie" - their symbol is a hippo.

Saw Prime, Sideswipe and Strongarm so far, plus the same Prime with a trailer. It's not very visible (sorry, only had my tablet with me) but on the side of the trailer is Optimus and Megatronus, outlined in glowing colors.
The cars are about 5,13 EUR, Prime with trailer is 12,23EUR.

Also found Power Surge Optimus Prime and Bumblebee with their Minicons.

Prime costs 82,6EUR, Bumblebee is 60.65EUR

Also, in what seems like a totally nonsensical move, Müller raised the price of the remaining CW Deluxes to 33EUR - same as the CW Voyagers still sold by them. WUT?

I was surprised to see Dickie toys at a Calendar Store in the mall here in Kansas. Unfortunately, no nuRiD stuff...just their regular cars and trucks.

Oh, so they make metal cars like Matchbox or Hot Wheels (or Majorette, if that still exists today)? I honestly never saw any of their toys in the country before.

Their RID stuff has been out in Germany for a while now, and is occupying more and more shelf space.

I expected so, given that this was found in Müller and you guys and Austria probably have more such stores than us. ;)  Just didn't see any frontpage news on these yet.

Nobody gives a shit about these wastes of shelf space, or something. :)

I got the RID cars and the trailer version of Optimus. I collect Hot Wheels cars (usually Stars Wars and Marvel/DC stuff) and these are the closest RID equivalent. I assume there will be a series 2.

What I really would like would be Hot Wheels versions of the G1 car Autobots, and perhaps the Stunticons.

That's a bit disingenuous Nevermore. Personally I love them! I bought all I could find in Asda a few weeks ago (posted about it in the UK Sightings thread) and I think they're really cool! I'm sure I'm not the only one either.

A small selection of what's available at two German Toys"R"Us stores as of today:
