Speaking of, Stormshot would make a great Starscream repaint.

 

Yeah. And I don't believe Stormshot was ever a character before now, so there's a lot of room for improvements for the guy

That's actually his color scheme in the IDW Comics, albeit with a lot more white.

The more I looks at StormShot the more I see Armada Red Alert.

 

So we've got people calling Stormshot Leader-1, Starscream, Nacelle, and now Red Alert. Poor dude must be having an identity crisis.

 

He's a literal nobody, he doesn't have an identity.

 

No interest in Not-Bludgeon or Candycane Drift. Stormshot on the other hand is pretty neat looking.

So that\'s where all of Ratchets alt mode paint went.  They put it on Drift and made him a candy cane just in time for Christmas!  It\'s Drift Cane!

 

Well, Atleast no one called Stormshot Saber. Oooops, might be too late now.

 

Both Blastwave and Stormshot wouldn't look out of place in a CHUG collection.

 

Stormshot and Blastwave are beautiful, but I'd much prefer to wait for the Bludgeon repaint of Blastwave. Stormshot's still one I'm on the lookout for, though.

 

No pictures but I can confirm repacks of old figures under Combiner Force labeling. I saw Starscream today (amusingly alongside TRU exclusive Starscreams) as well as Strongarm and Grimlock and I THINK Fracture.

 

Those repacks have the potential to cause half of the wave to shelfwarm.

Nah. The RID line has good plastic quality, whether Takara or Hasbro. I have a feeling people saying "knockoff feeling" have never encountered those really, really terrible knockoffs that seem to be made of soda drink bottle plastic. Or Roadbots, which have slightly see-through and really rigid (and prone to breaking) plastic.

 

Might actually pick up Blastwave and Stormshot if I see them!
