Strongarm needs a better representation in any case. I like her original warrior toy, but its not in the same league as Fracture, Bumblebee, Megatronus, Jazz etc. Hasbro needs to do her justice.

Also: warrior class being just smaller than deluxes suck and has no justification.

I feel most Battlepack toys are pretty good. That Grimlock is even better than the warrior, they fix his issues.

Hell yeah! And I agree, they were better than some of the generations stuff. I was glad to have them in the begining of the year when all that generations gave us then was the same molds redeco'd

Hopefully BBTS will put up singles of these new guys soon, and not go price crazy like they did with the Bisk/Ratchet/Scatterspike wave.

 

haven't bought a single RiD toy since it came out. Not bout to start now.

most just look so awful. but always gotta tell myself these are kids toys. I don't need-em.

these combiner force toys look so bad.

The Skyfire looking dude looks aight though. but jet mode looks awful.

Nice looking figures! And that Strong arm is the smaller not the original so I don't think the TAV is the same mold. I could be wrong anyone wanna correct me or agree with me? (I can't think of the proper word god I hate that)

Hmm, i dont know if i ever compared my warriors to FOC deluxes. I compared Megatronus to TR Skullcruncher i think.

 

When I first saw the mold that was my first thought as well.

 

I mean he's even got the things coming from his shoulders. (Seriosuly, slap some null rays on that sucker and you've got a really nice seeker. It's uncanny)

 

I would have loved to see better pics of that starscream. Can the OP tell us if the colours looked any different from the clash version?

 

I don't follow RID & I've never even seen a whole episode (I don't get whatever channel it's on), but some of the designs are really good. Ratchet, Windblade, Starscream,and now Stormshot all appeal to me in an almost G1-ish way. If I seem him, I won't resist the temptation to buy it.

An Autobot Seeker was always something I wanted back in the days of my childhood. Back then I had the black Four Star Seeker that I called "Star Warrior" as a substitute for Starscream, but I always wanted the white one with the masked-face to be an Autobot Seeker. This new RID Stormshot will be a cheaper, modern alternative for my Collection.

 

Does any one know if the deluxes can combine like the simplified 2 packs ?

 

I like the newer designs coming out, but unfortunately im a masterpiece only guy.....but its nice to finally see something good coming out of hasbro
