Hullo, not sure if this is news but I couldn't find a thread mentioning it; mods please delete this if necessary! :)

Anyway, went to the Smyths in Charlton, London today and found these ever so reasonably-priced things of wonder:

Bought Strongarm as I've always liked her (and clearly she's MTMTE Magnus' daughter):

Here's a couple of (bad) in-package shots just in case anyone's interested:

Hope that helps UK NuRiD collectors!

Now to find out if she's any good... :)

Edit: looks like user duckstar saw them shortly before I did!

After spending the day playing with one, I really don't think these things are worth a Voyager-sized pricetag!

Ideally they should cost a bit less than a NuRiD Warrior, as Strongarm at least is fun, just way, way overpriced.

Did a review here: RID Combiner Force Activator Strongarm & Trickout
if anyone wants to see some dreadful photos.

Am going to keep an eye out for the other Activators, for when the toy shops realise their terrible mistake and duct-tape two packs together to desperately try to sell for a tenner.

Until then I guess at least they'll save on shelf heating.

    Ebay:
    £25? Are they on crack?

I know Brexit has pretty much screwed us on the pound's value but I can buy a flipping Voyager for that. Those will shelf warm, guaranteed.

In the particular Smyths these were on sale in, you could buy a TR Deluxe and a RID Warrior or two RID Warriors and a Legion for the same price, or a CW Leader for four quid more. To become aware of this all you'd have to do would be to turn your head slightly.
