Eh....Prowl consider intelligent. Perhaps but not sane though.

It appears that Prowl and the Constructicons just took out Jazz. I am guessing the stale mate was broken in Decepticons favor.

That is pretty interesting, and without you mentioning it I wouldn't have even taken another look at the cover. Oh well, remarking that Devastator might have squeezed Galvatron 'til he turned purple would have been a pretty silly joke anyway. ;)  I wonder why they didn't just let that slide though, sure it could have been brought up over successive posts but what stands out to me is a lot of praise for both covers. Admittedly it's tempting to ponder if this has something to do with a Generations Galvatron figure, though for me speculating on that's as much just for passing the time and a little mental exercise.

The priority for speculation here might be figuring out who is talking to Galvatron on the final panel of the last page. Nova Prime or Alpha Trion spring to mind, hey, it might even be Tyrest or Metalhawk for all I know, though that seems like a much longer shot, but not impossible since it could be an all new character with any range of importance or lack thereof to the story. In the previous thread I suggested that, what with the characters who started off with headmaster toys being predominantly on the Lost Light, if someone really wanted that play feature reintroduced, they could encounter a Knight Of Cybertron with the abilities that the Cybertronians that Galvatron fights here have. Now, if it makes any difference, I wonder if the character overleaf might well be a Knight regardless. In any case it does seem like the identity is meant to be a surprise.

Not much anything new, but they way they continue to write Prowl, between the two series, he really needs a good kick in the head.

Edit: Also, I really wish they would get the dimensions between Devastor/Prowl more in accordance with everyone else. He Prowlistator looks bigger than he should be.

Yeah, I know it's been mentioned in the comics that Devastator uses mass-shifting, but it's to a kind of ridiculous degree. I thought Ore-13 was meant to be pretty crucial to the Transformers that utilised it's size-changing, which has been rendered inert, has it not?

Galvatron seems mighty ticked off at Rumble on the credits/covers page.

I'm trying to be excited about this issue, I love getting to see Cybertron's past, but – well, Magnus in my avatar kind of sums up how I'm feeling about it.

No, Ore-13 is not necessary for mass shifting, it's just that it spends a lot of energy, something which is probably not as big a problem when it's six bots dividing the energy cost among themselves.

And I really don't see Devastator becoming this big as ridiculous at all, especially when Brainstorm used mass-shifting to shrink down some characters so they could go inside of Magnus back in the MTMTE annual.

Ah, my bad. I think I was misremembering something said in Infiltration, been a while since I read it.

I don't know why, to me, Devastator's mass-shifting (to the extent he does) feels, unnecessary, I guess? I think it's just that these massive robots combine into an even massive-er robot that has to be even-more-massive-er for some reason.
Still, without even the required mass-shifting to even them all out, he'd be one gimpy giant, so really it's whatevz.

I just love how barbarian Galvatron is pretty much a staight up G1 Galvatron toy.

I'm also getting used to the new tank Galvatron. It's not as badass as the old Guido one but it's fun.
