I'm pretty sure that most of you are aware of Richard Roeper's tirade on Transformers: Dark of the Moon. Well, I happened to check out one of his latest reviews and it was about Fast Five. He praised the film, even though, as He mentioned, it's "dumb and defies physics and logic". Yet, he bashed Dark of the Moon for those very reasons. He even went so far as to call Fast Five the most action-packed live-action cartoon of the year. Does anyone else not see the inconsistency? He condemns Dark of the Moon for the same reasons that he praises Fast Five and then praises Fast Five for being a "live-action cartoon" (i.e. unrealistic), even though that doesn't fit its genre, unlike Dark of the Moon (which is science-fiction).
