So as the finishing touches are added to the customs and we await the ever so pretty pictures here is my own offering towards mattarmstrong's entry. Meet Skyquake, repainted from the voyager Starscream mold. For this one I was originally very distracted by all the detail, so I flattened him drastically, I do hope it didn't take away from the look. As a reference I used the G2esque drawing of Starscream from Shattered Expectations last year.
Awesome work dude. I agree with the details. I just finished drawing him for the cover for the set, and had to omit alot of detailings as well. Cybertron figures are just to overwhelming to draw with all those details intact, lol.
Had I tried to copy every line on him I'd have been at it forever and I don't think I've the patience or skill to have gone into that level of depth. As it stands the lines are a bit choppy on this guy, but when he's sized down for a tech spec card he should look fine. Thanks man, I hope to get off me arse and do some more drawing soon.
