Big weekend at the yard sales. Two big scores – First was the box of Transformers. Nice mix of stuff at a nice price. Second was finding a Star Wars collector unloading her collection. Unloading it priced to move. I was there as she was unloading it and had first picks, but I was literally overwhelmed by how much there was (and how little she was asking)... I bought maybe ¼ of the figures and just a couple of vehicles. I should have bought everything – Or at least all the figures. It was a once in a lifetime chance to pick up a premium collection for a fraction of retail. Oh well....

I never see any TFs in yard sales around here. I'm so jealous.

    Nice work!

I haven't found anything the past couple of weeks. The local flea market is starting to wind down for the winter. Yard sales are slowing up too. I think it's gonna be awhile before I find anything again.

Yup, the season is winding down fast for me, too. October holds two big events that I finish my year off with: Last week's area yard sale day, and this weekend's rummage sale - Though there's usually not a lot of toys at the rummage sale anymore... Still great for books, CD's & DVD's.

After that, I have one thrift store that does toys to tide me over until spring. But that's OK - I need the rest and chance to sort all that I got.

Rework, do you buy most of this for yourself or do you flip some it? In any event that is an impressive haul and I am too green with envy.

I'll keep the SW stuff (for a while at least) and most of the TFs will probably end up at a future Botcon.

I went to the flea market last weekend and got 5 Armada Unicrons that were missing pieces...65.00
    A powermaster Optimus Prime...22.00
A box full of Transformers that had SDCC Nemesis Prime, SDCC Soundwave complete, Another unicron, A Primus, Two Universe Dropshots', A g1 Blaster,Metroplex incomplete, An Omega Supreme (G1) missing only the tracks, A G1 Galvatron missing the legs, A G1 complete Menasor, and to top it all off A G1 Megatron Complete.... 125.00 for a grand total of $212.00

A nice find. You never know what you will find at a yard sale or the flea market
