So, if it's being released in November...we should start seeing some screen shots from it pretty soon, right? I'm really interested in what kind of graphics the machine can pull off, especially after seeing XBOX360's and PS3's (where it's been stated that the MGS4 trailer is an accurate representation of in-game graphics).

 

For the Ps3 I won't believe anything until I see it in person, I have seen some Electronic show footage where the demonstrator says it's the actual game stuff but then reporters find out it's just some pre-rendered stuff.

But still this is just Grooovvvyy.

 

Cool, maybe I can go pre-order it sometime soon.

 

Can't imagine it'll have much of a launch line up, but who knows. I want one, but i'll have to wait and see more about it.

Sony has always said that their promo footage is an accurate representation, and it's always been a blatant lie. Have we forgotten the fake PS2 Tekken footage already?

I'm less interested in seeing video footage and more interested in trying out that controller. I'm really excited about it  

 

I am looking forward to it and hoping nintendo pulls of something special with this system.

 

Not soon enough. I want a Revolution yesterday, I want it even more today, and tomorrow I'll be foaming at the mouth for one.

Anyway, common Nintendo show us some damn game footage!! Metroid Prime 3 for the win!! 

The MGS4 trailer was real time. There is a video of the guys moving things around in the demo, changing values, et. If its not real time, they did a good job syncing a live demonstration to a lie.

 

i cant wait for it....most likely my 1st system of the new generation systems

 

Now here's the question. Will they have zelda out by then?  

 

The footage doesn't have to be pre-recorded to be fake. It could, for instance, be running on something other than the hardware that will be in the comsumer version of the PS3. It could be a development machine and have significantly better hardware than the consumer model. For instance, the doveloper model Xbox has twice as much RAM in it than the consumer version (and there's still a place to solder the extra RAM to a regular Xbox if you can get ahold of some). In another example, Square's "Final Fantasy 7" N64 demo footage from before they moved over to Sony was done real-time... on an SGI development computer, not an N64.

I'm not saying the Sony PS3 footage is 100% guaranteed fake, but there's no way to prove that it isn't fake either. I'm just saying look at Sony's track record with this stuff and take it with a grain of salt until we see the real thing up close and in person.

 

I'm just waiting till Nintendo shows off the new Smash Bros. game

 

If that's their target then we should see just about everything the Revolution has to offer at this year's E3. I'm anxious to see how the media, having used and/or scrutinized the controller, will feel about the system overall.

Of course, TP delay resoning was prolly false about needing to fix stuff so they could have the time to put in REV content, Nintendo can pull a Sony/Microsoft just as easy as they can, i'm still going with the PS3 though, Rev's controler will be lame like the DS is lame*Nintendo = Armada, gimmicky and not as good as it should be, Sony = Cybertron somewhat gimmicky but still some of the best out there* if i get anything Nintendo it'll be a GC or a GBA SP, other wise make mine Sony.

I bet Nintendo's hoping the Rev's controller is "lame" like the DS is "lame". As gimmicky as the DS is, it's still money in the bank for Nintendo.

 

Why ? I'll never understand people like you, forming opinions on how fancy the graphics look.

When are people going to learn that graphics don't mean anything ?!

 

Well that's not entirely true, gameplay will always be the number one factor, but a game is always made better with prettier graphics.
RE4 has an amazing engine and fantastic gameplay, but none of that stopped me from stopping and enjoying the scenery and atmosphere every few minutes when I first turned it one year ago. If RE4 looked like shit it wouldn't have been nearly as good a game as it was with those graphics.
