So, Im curious. I've all of a sudden found myself wanting Hod Rod, Rodimus and Rodimus Prime figures with MP at the end of the year.

What's the deal with Revoltech Rodimus?
The Prices are so dirt cheap on eBay it makes me a little worried as somoeone who's never bought Revoltech Figures.

I'm Seeing BIN prices under $5 with low shipping rates.

Totally worth it. I think they probably just did a bigger production run than necessary so there's extra. Really wonderful figure, go get one. Or two.

Why is he so cheap? For that price I would bite if you are looking to add to a Rodimus collection.

I'm personally kind of "meh" on the Revoltechs. They are cool to pose, but I have some trouble with Transformers that don't transform. For whatever reason, this rule does not apply to Robot Heroes... maybe because they are so adorable.

Yep got mine for 13. Awesome firgure. The only issue is that the joints come off kinda easy, unless it's the hands then its a pain the a$$. Otherwise it's a great little version of Rodimus.

You can't go wrong with any of the TF Revoltechs.

Revoltechs are just awesome toys to begin with. The fact that they often make them of characters you grew up with and love just puts it over the top.

There's not a whole lot who will find satisfaction in four and a half inches, but Rodimus rocks the boat and rocks it well.

Yeah, he's totally worth it - I won mine for £4 MISB and he's easily as awesome as Starscream and Megatron. I don't even like Hot Rod, I just wanted to complete my Revoltech collection... I have the same problem with Optimus Prowl in that the hands are RAEG-INDUCING to get off, but once everything's switched over and he's posed you feel it's all been worth it. He's a BAMF and no mistake. :]

As to the question of why is he so cheap that was basically my question and concern. Especially considering prime/convoy's prices.
I've also been very meh on transformers that don't transform as well but I've always had a soft spot for all things rodimus/hot rod. I remember having the g1 prime as a kid. Wish I still had it. Hehe

I paid $15-20 for mine at a convention, so yeah, I'd definitely jump on the price. If you like collecting Rodimii(would that be the plural of Rodimus) he's absolutely worth picking up.

And G1 Rodimus Prime was the first Prime I had(though I was disappointed I didn't get Hot Rod). I love that figure.

I had all Rev TFs and Rodmius is the only one I've kept. I'm not a fan of the character particularly, but this guy is cool. I think I bought mine for 780yen or so. Many Revoltechs get clearanced eventually (have bought Starscream for 500yen) so the cheap price doesn't mean Rodimus is a bad figure.
I like Rodimus because his spare head has a visor on. I got sick of Megatron and Starscream having very similar looking face because of the eyes.

Convoy's hard to find. Hot Rodimus isn't. Trust me, I've been looking for a Revoltech Convoy for a couple years now.

Mines awesome. Wish he had a Rev. Galvatron to scuffle with. Watch the pegs on the hands, though. I had to repair one of mine. But I'd rather they be too tight than too loose.
