I love this. Who’d have thought we’d get to do this on an Optimus Prime figure?

Me when I think about Spider-Man leaving the MCU because Sony is run by inept bean-counters who think they'll be fine after a critically-panned spin-off and an animated movie they (allegedly) had no faith in:

Revoltech's old TFs were kinda crappy but Yamaguchi's Marvel toys are legit awesome, and this thing seems to have the same attention to detail and poseability going on.

Normally I don't like modern "Action Masters", but this guy is really badass.

That, coupled with Disney being money hungry.

In fairness, Disney at least know how to do movies and they're financially stable, which is more than I can say for Sony, who are financially unstable and wanted Feige to oversee all of their Spider-Verse stuff without so much as a producer's fee.

    (But I digress. For now.)

Honestly, the less of a monopoly Disney has the better.

As far as I’m concerned, the MCU ended with endgame.

Back in the day I bought the Revoltech Optimus, Megatron, Starscream, the VF-1S Valkyrie and Dante from Devil May Cry.
I thought they were great -until they weren't.

Every single one of them has an issue.
Heads pop off by themselves, arms fall off at the elbow or wrist, guns get dropped.
They just did not withstand the passage of time.
They can't even hold poses that the "Revoltech Joint" should have no problem supporting anymore.

I know this is technically a different line, but I can't see myself buying anything Revoltech ever again.

HOWEVER -I do find it super interesting that they have a phrase from Marvel Comics Transformers #1 on the back of the package.

I love Revoltech, so if more get announced I'll buy this one, as Jetpower Optimus was great. We really REALLY need Knightimus Prime with Revoltech joints!

I'm more interested to see what DC are up to since they're doing standalone stories which sounds exciting.

Looks cool. The only Revoltech figures I’m really planning on getting though are Queen’s Blade ones, some Gurren Lagann ones and Vash from Trigun... maybe Bumblebee as well. He seems like he’ll scale well with mpm.

I will say it looks way better then the original Revoltech Optimus Prime. I honestly thought that figure was kinda ugly.
