    Right, I have a feeling that those are only in England, because living in Northern Ireland the above muffins are much more common.

    Perhaps “United Kingdom” was too general of a description. I’m not really an expert on the UK though. Mainly was just going off of the American name of that specific pastry(?) being “English Muffin.” Not sure if they just call it that everywhere or just here.
