Yesterday after watching Transformers 2 Revenge of the fallen, I realized it has been a great movie after all, the swearing should have not been added however the humor, the action scenes were somewhat great for this second film, however I do feel bad for Michael Bay for apologizing in the press conference a long time ago, however Mudflap and Skids were not as bad in the first place and that's what critics think, it was a great movie and is not to be treated that way apparently.

I agree. ROTF is a great movie in my opinion and I think it gets more things right than it gets wrong. I love ROTF and I will defend it forever. The humor was overdone at times, but when it was there I laughed at it. The action is amazing as well and it had some good "Holy s**t!" moments.

This is very true. However I would also add that this is not a place for blatant advertising. But that's just me.

( To explain myself, this person has 1 post and it is in completely the wrong place with atrocious grammar capped with begging people to subscribe... to I suppose his YouTube account. All this combined makes me feel this was someone begging for attention and doesn't really care about the subject matter. )

I'm still not too big on the twins. I do like Skids though. But him and Buttflap making fun of Leo was totally unneeded. On the contrary, Leo sucks anyways.

Yes, it's in the wrong forum, but does everyone need to point it out?

Now being on topic, ROTF is definitely far from being a perfect film (even I have a few gripes with it, but I still enjoy it), but I feel it gets way too much flack. I think it's right up there with movies like WATERWORLD and BATMAN & ROBIN - they're really only "bad" because they didn't live up to the hype they build themselves up with and didn't meet everyone's expectations.

Then again, I'm probably in a minority, but I'm one of those people who likes how quirky and stupid some films can get.

ROTF is the only Bayformers movie I can't easily re-watch. It's just so horribly paced.

Missed the Movie Forum, but it happens.

ROTF isn't a great film, but I'd call it good on the grounds that I was entertained, and my viewings never felt like money wasted. It gets so much flak because that's the 'cool' thing to do.
