Picked him up on impulse when i was out today.

    First off,

    i am a seeker guy who's gotta get'em all.

First impressions were that the Alt mode looked pretty good with some underbelly kibble but not Superion bad.

Colors are a desert camo with those fugly Tattoo's. :(

Bot mode is basically FAIL with the execution.:mad

A few simple retools and the large amount of kibble would have been manageable.

The backpack just sits there without and folding or shrinking.

The execution of the chest/head/nosecone was a bad idea that destroys any chance of neck or head movement.

On the plus side the legs are very good and offer a good deal of poses.

The arms are another plus with the movement and elbow joints.

Overall feeling is Avoid this figure unless you are a seeker guy or a completionist.

For the Radicons there is a lot of things that can be done to improve the mold if up to the challenge.

    Comparisons with Smokescreen(A awesome repaint)

    Gallery up later with comparisons.

I like his design. He will be one of the first I pick up. Darker colors would have been better, but it's no big deal.

So he looks cool and has good arm and leg execution.

I'm failing to see the fail.

I passed this one up and seeing this review makes me kinda glad I did. I am not digging the Wheelie peek-a-boo head and backpack.

I saw both this and a darker color one at the target near me.

Had they made the legs and feet just a little skinnier it could have been one of the few jet transformers with no under carriage kibble, its close though, I really hate those feet on a transformer with a sleek altmode.

Like you said, he has great arm and leg articulation to go along with it.

There's not much I like on that figure, and it stands on gorilla feet. :)

I gave him points for those but what kills it is the huge backpack and lack of any neck movement/posing.

Simply having the wings fold in or back would have made him so much better.Or had the tail wings attach to the legs.

Thank goodness he's not a Seeker. I got this guy just to take parts off of for a customs project. but of course, why not tinker with it first, eh? wow. HATE IT. jet mode looks ok, robot decent, but in todays day and age it's unforgivable to me for a TF to have a 100% immobilized head. unbelievable. hell, all it needed was a double ball-joint stemp and the head could've been able to pull out of the cockpit and also then have full articulation. CHEAP BS. Thank goodness I only got it for parts, otherwise I'd be pissed at wasting 12 bucks.

He's on my list of toys I'd like to get, but pretty low. I have a fondness for really goofy looking toys, and this guy fits the bill. Still, I do prefer GOOD toys over ones I like for the goofy factor. I'll be thinking a little harder about actually picking this guy up now. All the goofiness in the world won't fix a toy that isn't really fun for me. Movie 07 Dreadwing barely met the fun minimum... and was among the first to go when I needed to downsize, for example... but he sure was funny to look at!

I do understand and respect that they're trying new things, though. Can't win every time that way though. Other times, they hit it out of the ballpark, though.

I picked him up today. I actually like him quite a bit. He has awesome feet, they're so big and sturdy and clunky looking. The color scheme could be darker, but I like it for what it's worth.

Those ankles look like a feature or something that ended up getting scrapped, though.

Not that it really helps much but the two vertical tailfins on his back are supposed to swing up towards his head.

I like the way he LOOKS, I hate that he has a static-frickin' head! The backpack actually works, it's clear he is capable of flight or hovering in robot form.
