How many of you would of preferred if they kept Scorn, and Slug in the dark? I honestly would of preferred if they kept them in the dark until the movie came out. I might just be the only one though. Your thoughts?
I actually don't mind seeing the Dinobots in tv spots! I actually was dying to see some Scorn and Slug and maybe Slash in action.
I mean I will admit seeing them did get me even more excited for the movie, but I would of also liked to wait and see them when it came out.
Yeah. Now that I think about it, it would've been far more cooler to see Drift in action for the first time at the actual theater. But, at least they only showed 1 second of him slicing a vehicon lol!
How many Dinobots are confirmed for the movie? So far we've seen Grimlock, fake Swoop, fake Slag, and the spinosaur. Isn't there a raptor, stegosaurus, and brachiosaur/apatosaur as well?
We've only gotten 4 confirmed from the trailers and TV Spots. It doesn't look good for Snarl, Slash and Slog. I doubt they'll even be in movie.
^ Grimlock Strafe Slug Scorn Slash Snarl Slog I'm a little worrried as we've seen art/Renders for The first four And on screen.. But nothing of the other 3 except crappy Hasbro art.
I would say yes and no. Yes, because it gets the TF fans attention and excited since most fans like the dinobots. No, because from the view of someone who really isn't into transformers but enjoys the movies, they may be confused by the dinosaur looking robots and question going to the film. For example, my mom saw some of the TV spots on the TV and said to me: "What is up with the animals in this film? That's really dumb." She told me a couple days later that she wasn't interested in seeing it in theaters now and she'll wait until the DVD comes out because she doesn't think it looks as good as the previous one. But that's just one person, so whatever.
I like seeing them in the tv spots because it's another thing to get excited about in this movie but I don't want to see too much footage of them.
I say show them mostly because I'd like to see them in something other than the bright colors Hasbro picked for the toys. But I can kind of see why they haven't shown them because you don't want to pack too many characters into the trailers and TV spots. An over load of characters in the build up can sometimes cause confusion so focus on just a few characters.
This, and it explains why they didn't show off a good deal of the new characters in the teaser trailer. They want the old audience to return.
