It's just the new thing on Generations packaging coming up. No biggie really yet. Not exactly a subline just a new tagline.
As long as there's normal faction logos as well I'm all for rubsigns. One thing that bummed me over the Classics was the rubsigns instead of normal logos on almost all the figures. Poor old Rodimus's chest just looked so plain without an Autobot logo in his flame design. Rubsigns for alt mode and normal faction logos revealed when in robot mode. That'll do me.
Sounds like I may have to place another order at Reprolabels. Nothing against rubsigns, but I prefer the painted symbols. (checking out the 2011 Generations toy pics again) ... Yep. Were the Rubsigns that popular with the young'uns back in '06?
Other than the graphic of a new label, Reveal the Shield, I see nothing on any of the figures themselves which I believe that is what the OP stated.
well damn...that just means without reprolabels, all my universe 2.0 figs and this year's generations figs are gonna be feeling jealous and out of place when compared to everyone else. kinda like the middle children of the bunch.
Thanks for mixin it up retro 80s style Hasbro! I guess this gimmick is better than the others. As long as the transformer looks good, I dont really care either way. I can always remove it and apply a repro label... Rubsigns were cool in 1986... Not 2011... Call me old fashioned, but I like the ol red and purple signs...
