My ONLY complaint is that the grill isn't silver. Other than that, it'd be nice to have a shoulder launcher, but I'm sure someone will come up with something...
His head isnt small, nor is his legs "chicken legs"... wtf people! ...just inventin stuff to dislike now.
since both halves of the lower legs are black now, instead of half white and half black, I'm happy. that's a hell of a lot more important to me than a grill paint application.
My only issue with the head is the expression. Why so glum, chum? If there's one character that should have a smirk or smile, it's the ever-optimistic Jazz. Maybe he just never quite recovered from Scatman's passing.
Considering that deluxes cost about what Autobot cars cost 25 years ago, regardless of inflation, and that BT and Alternity toys cost several times that, i can't say i feel short-changed.
Reverse RTS and G1 Jazz in that sentence, and replace "articulation" with "stickers", and you get closer to my opinion.

Deluxes nowadays cost about as much as Jets and larger Transformers did back then. Better plastic and better paint apps on the older toys....not to mention some diecast. Only thing I can see that makes the newer toys superior is greater detail and more articulation. Which doesn't always make for a greater product. At least not in my eyes. I'm the opposite. I would rather have that extra detail through an extra paint app. That's just me, though. Exactly what I said in my earlier post! He should have a smirk or grin!
what's the whole "reveal the shield" moniker mean? it doesn't have anything to do with the movie does it?
That's something that kinda sticks out for me too, although I'll probably leave it like that. It's very, very easy in this case to just take a silver sharpie and 'paint' it yourself, though. Seems like a really easy place to apply it on and the end result will be smooth. I know you shouldn't 'have to' but it's an easy and cheap fix! But I find it hard to believe they'd apply silver paint to the speakers, and not use it for the grill.
And strangely enough, out of the first 11 figures, 10 of them are Autobots. The only Decepticon is Lugnut so far. EDIT: I forgot about the two Scouts. Windcharger is an Autobot... we don't know what Chopsaw is yet, but we're assuming he's going to be a Decepticon.
