Great photos, thanks. Now we just need some Takara website updates or new photos on amazon.jp!

The legs don't look movie like at all to me they look G1. If they were chicken legs like Lockdown had I would have to agree.

Head looks in proportion to me, the expression on his face reminds me of judge Dredd, maybe it's the visor/scowl combo...

Does he have to have those speakers deployed in robot mode? Jazz has always had the positive attitude....so I don't know why he has that scowl. A grin or smirk would've looked nicer.

But overall, yes..this is probably as good as we're going to get it, as far as a Jazz figure goes. He does look great.

Hmmmm, the lack of paint apps make me want the Takara version, but that version's price forces me to buy the Hasbro one.:redface2:

It looks very unfinished. I bet Reprolabels will fix that.

Why's his head so tiny? Has he been hanging out with Punch?

You're itching to get tazed bro. Only movie Jazz spouts that crud. G1 Jazz is too cool for that kind of sh*t-talk. Get yo facts straight, boy.

Could someone do a back shot so we can see his back and how the doors attach? I want to know if I can rotate them down to be in a G1 animation like bot mode.

other than that, this guy rocks!

The speakers are from several G1 episodes. Seasons 1 and 2 specificly.

    Remember kids, knees = "movie-ish"!

I didn't notice that the speakers were on clips before. That's great, makes me want to stick Wheeljack's missiles (which I probably will not be using as wrenches) up there as an alternative.

I reverse my opinion on the headsculpt. It doesn't look as mean here and 'Judge Dredd' brutish. Strange how you can sometimes get a very different impression from a slightly different angle. I might've preferred a more friendly expression, but I can live with this. Also, I really like the overall shape of the head. The helmet sculpt is spot on.

I think the overall figure looks excellent in terms of proportions and posability. I don't agree that the head is too small, as some have said. Look at the size of G1 Jazz's head for comparison.

The only big deal disappointment for me is the altmode. If they'd got as close as Legends Jazz did, I'd have no complaint at all. I know not everyone will care, but you have to speak up about the stuff that's important to you.

The lack of paint apps is a valid concern, but that's always secondary to me. I think the movie Jazz G1 repaint actually had better paint apps than this. But Takara will probably get it right, and if not, it's a problem that can be fixed with a paintbrush.

Is anybody else bothered by how tiny the head is? I'm probably going to buy him anyways.

Has anybody seen a back view of this figure yet? I'm curious how his legs would look if reversed as part of a custom...

That would also help determine if his doors can be folded down, on ball joints or something. Not that I prefer the cartoon look, but the versatility would be nice, since I've seen that complaint posted.

Hey man I'm plenty happy with this, just noting some nitpicks I had with it.

I just think the way the knee connects to the upper leg looks kinda funky, and the lower part of the leg seems chicken leggy, but maybe it's just the picture

All I'll need to do is take a silver or black sharpie to that grill and he'll be perfect! Can't wait.
