Does it matter? It will look good on our classics display. Green winged Megs has been ruining my display for years. He needs to be replaced.

 

This thing doesn't look too bad but damn it hasn't this fandom reached its limit for different third parties yet? Its ridiculous to see something new like this nearly every week.

I like it but it isn't G1 or Classics enough to me. I'll consider it B plan for my "in scale G1 display" if iGear's ever fails to release their Horror Monarch.

 

It looks pretty sweet, but not crazy about the leg warmers....and Im stealing the name for my birthday party. "Retro Pay Homage To The Birth" Coolest name ever.

I personally have a soft spot for Classics Megs.

I want to know to see if I should buy this or not. Seems like a better fill in than Horror Monarch for the PP line.

Oh the options, I love em but they can feel overwhelming sometimes.

 

Unofficial or not, it looks interesting enough. Way better than the monstrosity that is MP Megs at least.

How can it not be G1 enough? It looks like Megatron came out of a TV playing reruns of the 80s cartoon to kick you in the nuts. Sure, the legs are a bit different but the rest looks exactly like megatron.

Frankly most of the reactions I've read in this thread baffle me a bit, but eh, I guess we all can have our opinions.

 

Honestly, whoever did this should be very proud, they managed to address many of the main problems in making a gun Megatron figure, especially at that size. It ain't perfect, but it's a hell of a job.

 

^ tcrackers comments are puzzling to me, but i have a hard time biting on this might be an official version of megatron (mostly due to the sword) and the fact that if it was takara's there would be 0 comlaining after the nailed mp-10 so well

but i will bite on that this maybe the best classics sized/themed megatron we will ever see outside of the mp line, the legs have a little curve to them the gray prototype is hiding that quite well but you can see it in altmode its not huge but its there.

I agree whole heartedly. I'm still amazed by this design and amazed even more by the bad reactions in this topic. I really can't believe people are smashing this considering every other megatron we have gotten. And MP megs is trash guys. This blows that thing out of the water.

 

Knew I shouldnt of sold my Classics optimus.I like the idea that he will be a little bigger than classics op if I'm not mistaken. Can anybody put heavylabor next to op?

Definitely the best Megatron robot mode I've seen.
If this is simplified/scaled down MP, I'll buy both.
If it's something from the "rumored G1-ish line", I'll buy it. and then I'll buy MP megs.
