This is the model you want for an original Genesis or Mega Drive. It also comes in blue for some reason. I've replaced the board in the blue one with a Bluetooth "DIY" kit from 8BitDo. I can still use it on my Genesis via one of their "Retro Receiver" adapters. Since I also have Retro Receivers for SNES, I'm going try using it for fighting games on my SNES.
Right. That San Andreas, and Vice City Stories remake would be great too. I think it would make good business sense.
Contra Anniversary Collection Full Lineup Revealed | NintendoSoup I love that Probotector is included. I always prefered the robots to the soldiers
I picked up the SNES version of Wing Commander on Saturday. My only issue with it is that it really needs a save feature.
Wish granted. It's multi-platform like the other Konami Collections. Konami confirms Contra: Anniversary Collection final game lineup
Contra: Anniversary Collection is coming to Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, Windows PC, and Xbox One this summer. The Contra compilation will succeed the already released Konami Anniversary Collection: Arcade Classics and Castlevania: Anniversary Collection.
Awesome. This'll be a throwback summer for me. Now we just need Konami to release their other arcade classics: The Simpsons Arcade Game Xmen Arcade Game (based on Pryde of The Xmen tv show) TMNT Arcade and TMNT Arcade 2: Turtles In Time. Lethal Enforcers
That would sure look better. But Retro-Bit's board isn't blue either, so at least the swap isn't an aesthetic downgrade. To be fair, the whole thing looks a lot bluer and frostier in normal light--you can hardly see the CB at all. Basically it looks like the photo on the box. The LED flash on my phone seems to cut straight through it though.
Licensed titles have a whole lot of hurtles to re-release, even for a little while. But you never know what could happen.
I have The Simpsons Arcade & Xmen Arcade downloaded on my PS3 before Sony lost the license and removed the games from their store. However my PS3 is boxed up and stored away.
A couple of my favorite retro game commercials from Japan "Mother"(Earthbound: Beginnings) "Sweet Home"
AtGames finally revealed their 350-in-1 cab. Press Release: AtGames Announces the Legends Ultimate Arcade Machine - Armchair Arcade I want to be excited - but it's AtGames...sooo....
LMAO at AtGames of all fucking people running an online service and taking people's payment details for digital purchases. I laughed at the press release highlighting Fighters History as a "top game property" as well. The legal issues around that game makes it a notable title, but good gawd it says right on the front that it has Star Wars and Missile Command if they want to highlight games that will bring people in. Still, if it's balls it at least looks like a better starting point for conversion than Arcade1up.
