Walmart put Hotrod back up on their site during the convention. I ordered him then and he shipped. Says it will be here Tuesday.

 

Same, showed up an hour or so ago. I was also day one, and I did receive my Starscream and my Galaxy Shuttle. I guess 2 out of 3 ain't bad? (The Meat Loaf special.)

 

Ugh, that blows that orders are canceled. Like Effigy, I had to "re-order" when Hot Rod went live again bc I had to changed my CC since the previous one got hacked.

I did a customer service chat with Walmart to complain (Hey, I had free time, why not?) and they apologized (der) and said they'd set up a notification to let me know when it came back in stock, and more importantly they sent me a $10 off coupon for my next order. Expires June 21. Not as good as getting your Hot Rod, but hey, it's better than a kick in the nuts, I guess. May be worth complaining if you too would like a $10 off coupon.

I tried the chat 2 times and got nowhere, just scripted copy and paste bs. This is very piss poor customer service and really leery on my recent pre-orders.

 

I really wish they would continue using the G1 box art and windows. I love the concept of cartoon deco on G1 toys, but I’d prefer to keep these as misb.

 

Just got mine today but yes that is the dilemma cause I want to enjoy the rad paint job but also misb these guys.

 

What good is MISB when Walmart ships them in a bag, lol. Mine got mugged in transit. Happy to not be canceled though

I'm also in the canceled club. Ordered back in December. That's some bullshit Walmart. Fulfilled recent orders and cancel people that have been waiting for months!?

 

I wish people that rip open all of their shit would back off of Pulse and order through Walmart instead. Pissed because I missed Hound at Pulse and there's a 50/50 chance they'll show up like @PoweredConvoy's Hotrods.

Unfortunately you never know when Walmart will just randomly cancel your order. It should be a ‘last resort only’ situation to preorder from them.
