Even if you order multiples thinking that'll force a box, those dimwits just ship separate bags. If you really want to hit back at Walmart, keep returning the things, on their dime, until you get a good one or they run out.
If the box is a loss, just ship back any old toy you don't want for a refund. Their warehouse people aren't any smarter than the gorillas at the service desk that'll take back anything.
Yup! He came from Walmart, delivered 12/18. I think he sold out on Pulse before I even knew what was going on. I know folks had their orders canceled, so I was pleasantly surprised that I got mine. I posted it in the Galaxy Shuttle thread in the News forum, when he arrived it was with a big gash down the side of the package. Another member suggested it was from a box cutter when the case was opened, and that makes sense to me. So that's another trashed box from Walmart, but in that case I don't mind quite as much, as I planned to open anyway.

So my Walmart order changed it's status from "preparing" back to "placed". Is that normal? Wonder what happened...
Yeah same thing happened to me. I have an arrival date now of February 21 for both Hot Rod and Starscream.
I just got mine today and can't for the life of me get Megatron's handle to attach to EITHER of Starscream's fists. Is there a trick?
If it's the same with TFC-09, the stock can be split with the stock extension going below the lower half of fist and the "Megatron" with the scope on the upper half of the fist. I hope this helps. The advantage with the TFC-9 is that it includes an Optimus Prime fist that also allows the OG G1 Optimus mold to hold Megs like that in Countdown to Extinction.
Nope, it's that the bottom part of Megs with the handle and stock are virtually impossible to plug into Starscream's fist.
Does this release differ from the tfc9 one at all? I already have that and might cancel my preorder...
I have it and like it a bit more than the old toon release. His arm cannons suck as always, if you don't have any to swap, stick with the old toon Starscream
I did a quick comparison a few pages back Retro G1 Hotrod and Starscream WM doesn't come with the Optimus/Convoy fists. Walmart's biggest difference IMHO is the painted robot face.
