Fixed it. I'll take some better photos when I get the chance, I've got another Retro-Rod to open up for a side by side comparison too.
i must admit that does look nice mine says 'arriving today' but it doesn't actually say it shipped and i never got an e-mail so yeah mine are probably delayed too
Got 2 Hotrods but no sign of Starscream anywhere in the UK. Not too fussed as I've got the Takara reissue but the painted face is nice.
I don't need the toys - I already have them - but the boxes are drawing me in. I'm trying to resist...
Probably no more so than the original G1 versions…plus Hot Rod appears to have rubber tires and diecast toes.
you really said that unironically didn't you you realize that having them be hollow prevents them from shattering, right? why do you think so many vintage toys just break into pieces
I thought you collected GI Joe? That line's full of vehicles and bases with thin parts that snap off like crazy. Also, sometimes old toys break because the plastic dries out. The sun's a common culprit here as well.
But will it be original Head in toon colours like the the 2002 New Year Reissue? Or Music Label toon-ish inspired head?
I am going to stick with the previous Walmart exclusives of these 2. I prefer the window boxes to the included ones to be honest.
I don't think any of these are going to convince me to buy a mold I already own in decent condition...unless they do Ironhide. But, I have a feeling I'll be likely to get one or two. Hopefully we get some official updates soon.
Thats all I have heard is "delayed" I talked to Walmart CS and they said it should ship the 15th (Today) but still no update. EDIT - Now they are saying its on a financial hold from my bank, but no charge was attempted. Looking like they will cancel orders. Anyone else contact Walmart and get this too?
