Looking good. Venksta mentioned on his art thread he might make iron fist heads for the tfcc fig too.

 

Finally met Venksta in person. Also, glad to finally pick up Warden and Steel Core! Sounds like the trailer is still in the works!

 

Really want that (Overload?) head sculpt for Steel Core (I never cared for his stock head).

 

i got that upgrade to darksteel comin to me and i cannot wait...just wish i knew about the sticker set earlier...oh well the head and gun look great!

Those Rex wings look amazing, Talon can't get here soon enough....

 

The only one I'm not really feeling is the Steel Core head. Turning him into Overload kind of takes away part of what makes him special.

 

dont quote me but i thought the steelcore upgrade was supposed to be someone else. can anyone confirm?

 

Hmmn, that's still an early Talon, probably same "age" as Peaugh's etc.

 

Its interesting that Rex does have the combined cannon on Talon. As I recall, there was concern about that be available or not when Peaugh received his test copies. I'm pretty sure we have seen in on Talon in other pics, but I've always chalked it up as possibly only a little blue tack magic. Hopefully this verifies it for the final release.

 

I want to like that Deathsaurus head, but either it's too small or the neck is too long or both.

 

SC was, according to FP, meant to be his own character.

However, many folks kept speculating/suggesting that he was some sort of Armada Overload (or specifically Magnus) take... even suggesting that the comics were hinting that. Again though, FP said no.

A while back Venksta figured to make this unintended homage more apparent by whipping up a mock-up Core and Head to homage Magnus/Overload properly. He has since mentioned that, while initially interested, it seems that FP/FPC won't be mass producing an Overload Core... and that the head itself might get a limited run by his own service. (There's a lot of parts to make, and apparently it'd be pricey compared to his other projects.)

Anyway... that Leo Knight set looks nice, as do all the weapons, but that's usually a given, isn't it?
