Insider says it's a timed exclusive and will come to PS4 after 1 year.

It looks like some peoples lost interest in the game due to no single player.

You know what will be funny? If the xbox release is really a timed exclusive, when the Playstation versions are released they have single player campaigns.

I don't think that will happen. Their entire design hinges on it being a dynamic multiplayer experience. Just like Battlefields 1-2.

I'm not sure I can justify full release price for a multiplayer only game, especially since I fell out of love with multiplayer when LAN parties stopped happening.

I don't think I really mind the lack of a single player. It's a game where I can control a giant robot mech and I can use it against other people in their own. Works for me. :)

He may be like me, and have a crappy internet connection or other issues. If someone cannot get the full experience out of an Online only game, then it really isn't justified in his case. I don't think he's condemning online only as a whole.

Though there technically may be no "single player campaign", there's apparently going to be a "one player mode" in multiplayer. To me that sounds like it's gonna be something along the lines of Battlefront 2's "campaign", which IIRC was basically just a bunch of AI-filled multiplayer matches with different objectives.

Yeah, no single player mode is a deal breaker for me, too bad, because it looked fun, but I don't want a multiplayer only or even a "we cobbled together this single player out of the multiplayer" experience.

I tend to not enjoy multiplayer, especially when I don't have a LOT of gaming time and end up with far too many of the "I live and breathe this game! I quit my JOB to play this game 80+ hours a week, I left my wife and kids to have more time for this game! and I'm a douchbag to people who's skills do not match my own rarrrr"

I'm a casual player on my BEST day and guys who act like jackasses towards anyone who isn't insanely good take all the fun out of the game for me. That and like with Steel Battalion 2 eventually people stop playing...I used to pop in just to find I had the whole world to myself, and with no possibility of a single player in that game it became useless.

This is how I felt with Warkhawk on PS3. It was a beautiful game, with awesome controls and an awesome universe, but it didn't have single, so I stayed away from it. I don't care about the price in either case, but I like a campaign mode. Brownie points if the campaign has coop multiplayer.

I'll definitely get it if you can play multiplayer matches with JUST bots. Which doesn't seem too unrealistic given how they keep going on about THE INFINITE POWER OF THE CLOUD powering their AI or whatever.

If you can't do that and the "one player mode" isn't good, I may pass to be honest.

I don't enjoy multiplayer gaming anymore; I loved sitting in a room with a bunch of mates and a bunch of PC's, hosting our own private games with our own mods and game modes. Conversely I didn't enjoy the couple of hours I spent on XBL or PSN being screeched at by howler monkeys with mics.

And damn it, I look at the world they created and there was such wonderful scope for a single player narrative. I don't blame them for excluding it if they genuinely have no passion or expertise or even desire to make one.

However, paying release dollars for this while both Warframe and Mechwarrior Online are available, seems kind of silly.

As maybe a $30-$50 downloadable title from XBLA, PSN or Steam, that I can get behind, but not $100-$110 it will most likely hit shelves at.

Well it looks like we have different classes of usable Titans:

I swear if it gives us a custom paint option I will start throwing money.

    Char's Titan Custom baby!

Oh, and speaking of Ogre, I got bored:
