sometime soon im potentially gonna be looking to do a reshell. is it me or is there no type of resource for this? point a bruh in the right direction like yall normally do -d to the e-uh-culpa
Here's a tutorial that Jaf (of Sector70) did a while back (he has the tutorial up here and over there): Masterpiece Jazz Follow Along - by Jaf This might be able to help you out some. Also, you could hit up fellow members that have been doing some reshelling (KelvinChang, Alphamagnus, Wheel_Jack, and others). Good luck, D! I have yet to attempt one myself, but I'd like to try at some point.
Also, you can certainly look at the "wip" threads of others who have done similar projects. Many of those contain a lot of great resources
Actually there are a ton of tutorials on stuff necessary to do a reshell including a reshell tutorial. You have to look in the tutorials section: Tutorials and How Tos - TFW2005 - The 2005 Boards Here's the alternators reshell tutorial: http://www.tfw2005.com/boards/tutorials-how-tos/214546-re-shelling-alternators.html There are a lot of other tutorials that give tips that will be related to this, like paint techniques, disassembling figures, sculpting, removing pins, etc. But there's a lot you have to figure out on your own with a reshell. You have to figure out how it's gonna transform, how you're going to mount the doors and hoods, IF you want them to open, etc. Mathius
