Rrescue Bots' Season 4 finale leaves me with the lingering feeling we may or may not get a fifth season. It's still a great possibility. If not what if we get a spin off or sequel series. One things for sure. The way the Season ended with the team splitting up makes me feel the Rescue Bots characters and humans just like the Prime characters may appear (not as a team but in certain episodes or perhaps as a team). What do you all think and do you want another season?
Hope for season 5. I like how much RID and RB have been tying in recently. Would really be nice to keep this going.
As well as wanting a season five, I'd love to see the Rescue Bots show up in other shows/comics/games.
As much as I love RB, I feel Upgrades/Transformations was a great finale for the show. I'll definitely watch more if they make them, as the last season was the best yet, but I feel the show should probably come to a close. However, I'd definitely like to see characters from it turn up in RID15. As for a spinoff, I'd rather that the Aligned Continuity dies off completely after season 3 of RID. RB is the only show I've fully liked from this continuity, and I don't want to slog through more bland, completely unoriginal shows, with crumby character dynamics, like TFP or RID15. I mean, if they managed to capture the magic of RB, that would be great, but if they let Jeff Kline produce a RB sequel, they'd likely let him produce more seasons of RID, or a sequel to that show.
Man, I was cheesing watching the end of the season finale. Each season has been consistently good, always something fun to fall back on if the flagship series was lagging. Or really if any other series was lagging. If they haven't screwed up by this point, I don't know that they will at all. Rescue Bots has that good, fun vibe that I can't speak of highly enough. It reminds me of Steven Universe in that it has a wonderful, large cast of engaging, likable characters and lots of fun stories. Why can't more TF series be as good as Rescue Bots? Animated is still my pick for best series but this is a very comfortable #3.
Hoping that the show gets a 5th season. Sad to say Saturday morning cartoons aren't what they used to be.
Only thing that seems off is the time slot they put Rescue bots and Robots in Disguise. I don't remember anyone, me included who got up at 6am to watch cartoons. Though Friday nights were when certain networks aired new cartoons until 10pm or later.
I do remember standing up early on Saturdays to watch cartoons. I also remember beeing told to not set my arlamclock on weekends. It was a bit loud.
Wow. I used to get up at 7:30 to watch cartoons on Saturdays. Back in the 90s, later on the schedules changed for certain networks.
I'd miss it if they don't get another season. Having seen it and Robots in Disguise, I've been watching Transformers Animated for the time being. Has some similarities to Rescue bots but more serious.
What do you think is going to happen to Rescue Bots next? I personally think they have no reason to discontinue it and that it has more room for a Season 5 and maybe Season 6 depending on how Season 5 goes, but these two Social media posts suggest otherwise...
