Time for another new episode of Rescue Bots to watch and discuss... Title: "Rescue Dog” Air date: June 21 Air time: 1:30pm ET/ 12:30pm CT Hub Press Release Description: Cody and the Bots find a stray dog who ends up joining the rescue team, but Priscilla Pynch has other plans for the pet. TV Guide Description: A stray dog joins the team, but Priscilla Pynch is not pleased with that arrangement. Ms. Pynch isn't pleased with anything that happens with the RB team is she? This episode sounds like it will begin the return of the villainous Ms. Pynch... who (based on the latest episode info) will cause plenty of trouble for our RB team. Just hope there's no animal cruelty... maybe he'll be a dogbot.
Didn't Cody mention in Season 1 that he wanted a pet dog but Chief Burns said he wasn't responsible enough? I guess Charlie has realized how mature Cody really is for his age if he's going to allow the team to take in the stray. I'm looking forward to this episode. I hope Blades and Boulder gush about how cute the dog is. That'll be adorable.
Wish I could see this one this morning, but the Hub is a stretch for hotel cable. As it were, going to the RB panel at BotCon & hopefully the autograph session afterwards (told only a certain amount of fans will get autographs).
Boulder with his love of animals will probably quickly become attached to the doggie. Guess we'll find out in 9 minutes.
Here we go... We're at the docks.... painting the boat (Darby Eva) Kade is 'booooooorrrrrreeeeeeddd'.... they hear a puppy barking.... Chase says he's trespassing on city property... How did he get up there??? Oh noes... the tide is coming in...(one heck of a tide) the next wave will hit him.... (not a Dalmatian) Repainted...hope you get an autograph.
Boulder will get the doggie loose from the rocks... natch. Blades and HW fly over to grab Boulder.... he goes down but manages to give HW the doggie. Aww. Cody is drying him off...and getting doggie kisses... Can I keep him Dad? They'll have to look for the owner first..... The GR dog show is in a few days, maybe he's lost from that... Chief says the doggie is cute. Max and Buddy are popular names for boy dogs, per Blades....and the internet. Cody wants to name the dog........NOBLE. Noble wags his tail, so he's happy with his new name. Eh, maybe not. Cody shows the bots tricks he can teach Noble. Come here, lie down..speak. Blades is doing the 'puppy talk' to Noble. 'he's had a ruff day, haven't you boy, yes you have' Cody will leave tech posters around town to search for the owner. Boulder wants to teach Noble tricks, Sit boy. Good dog. Watch this one...Stay. He's smart. Chase has checked the canine manual of course.... suggests newspaper training for infant doggies. Frankie is working with her 2 dogs for the Dog Show. Cody tells her about Noble. Frankie says Noble doesn't need tricks to be in the Dog Show. She uses 'showtime' as her trigger word, her dogs toss a ball between their noses and give each other a 'high-five'. It's the 39th annual Dog Show...Prescott is the mc. The gang's all there.... for Noble. Chief tells them to be on Good Robot Behavior...Blades. Little Pynch brought a robodog....why am I not surprised.? Mrs. N brought Mr. Pettypaws. "Wi-Fido" has several settings..... Grrrr.... Puppy, Show dog, Guard dog. Noble can Sit. Boulder thinks he taught Noble that. Mr. Pettypaws will jump thru fire???? Nope, Mrs. N will knock over the fire hoop first...spreading the fire, first the stage, then beyond. Ooops.... RB's to the rescue. Where's Frankie?... HW rescues Frankie.... Uh oh...Poopsie (Mrs. Mayor's dog) is still inside... Noble to the rescue... Noble!!!!
Chief sends HW (Firebot) in to save the doggies... Mrs. Mayor says Nobel deserves a medal... Priscilla wants to buy him...not bad, for a mutt. Wi-Fido barks and follows her. Kade says Nobel can't do tricks, but he made that amazing rescue of the other doggies. HW... this dog is just weird. Cody says it's his trigger word....Rescue! Awww.... even HW likes Nobel now. He knew exactly what he was doing...didn't ya boy? Cody has Noble with him on different rescues.... catching kids in run-a-way wagons, etc. Even going after burglars.. (not Evan or Myles this time--but wearing black/white striped shirts to identify them easily.... ) Dinner time for Noble... for a good day's work. Cody wonders if Noble can be a permanent addition...Chief agrees. Aww. Another call... parking break went out on a semi.... Even Noble puts on his seat belt riding in HW. Rescue Dog Roll to the Rescue.... Chief and the gang get folks out of the way... HW aims for the front axle... out of control tire breaks loose... Noble to the Rescue... Noble rescues Mr. Hunter from a rolling tire of death... he's a hero. They find a newspaper... Noble is really Buster.... and his real owner. Awwwwwwwww.. Buster was lost at sea while making a water rescue... a Capt. Duncan and the Coast City Fire Dept. own Buster. So he was a fire dog....HW should have known. Blades is happy they found his owner...until..... he realizes... Aww. Poor Cody... the bots discuss how attached Cody is to Noble.... Where's Noble??? ??? Everybody's looking for Noble.... where is he? Here puppy... Here boy. Cody thinks of Priscilla...she stole Noble??? Maybe? Mrs. Madeline Pynch is delayed on the mainland.... but Priscilla is to represent her today for a new bldg.--Phase One of Pynch Square. The Mayor wants to start the dedication. Priscilla has Wi-Fido guarding Noble and won't let him out of her limo... The bots keep Wi-Fido away so Cody can get to Noble. Chief tells the Bots to protect his family property. The mayor decides to drive a golf cart off the property...and crashes... Of course all kinds of machinery at a construction site goes haywire. Brick conveyor tossing bricks at HW... concrete covering Blades....other tools crashing, stuff everywhere. Wi-Fido is after Priscilla, all bots know she's mean She's on the framing of the bldg. Somebot get her down!.... whoa.... Noble to the rescue...then Chase gives her hand down from the bldg.....she even thanks Noble for the rescue. Cody says goodbye to Noble/Buster.... and the bots too. He has to go back home, the Capt. is waiting....... but he comes back for one last kiss. Chase: If I had a tail, it would not be wagging. Aww. Maybe Cody will get a new dog one day soon....Boulder will help him train it... Blades hopes training doesn't mean diapers. Awww...sweet episode....give the boy a dog.
I figure this would be a fun, cute episode like Four Bots and a Baby and I wasn't disappointed. This show is always fun and cute and that's why I love it. Sometimes that's all I'm in the mood for. I was surprised Heatwave warmed up to Noble so quickly but it was cute. I've said "cute" too much in this post. Noble sure was an awesome dog. I was really hoping the team would be able to keep him. Priscilla's such a butt. I hope they do something to redeem her in future episodes because right now she's the only character on this show that I can't stand. Ha, Noble's actual name was Buster. That's my dog's name, too.

Thanks for the links! Pretty good tug of the heart strings because you don't want Cody to be denied a good capable dog he can take care of. Pretty loose standards of Huxley to allow Mrs. Neederlander's cat and Priscilla's robotic dog to compete in a dog show. Glad the Mayor's wife held to her word to get Noble/Buster a medal as I wouldn't have expected that. In all, Buster wound up where he was meant to much to everyone's dismay, but the right thing happened too.
Mrs Neederlander is the best. Getting to enter her cat in a dog show basically because everyone's afraid to say no to her.
I'm glad that they remembered that Frankie had some dogs, I thought they'd forgotten since using Trex to guard the lab.
I think Trex is a better choice for guarding valuables that the talented duo of Aristotle and Edison. You might expect a dog or 2 as a criminal breaking and entering, but a big robotic t-rex?
