    Not sure if this is news or not, but I've never seen or heard of this guy before. At the Walmart in Riverdale, UT.

    He and Whirl (race car) were first available on Amazon.com on Sept. 1, but haven't been spotted at an actual store until recently.

    Also available with Grimlock and Whirl is the newer Medix figure, along with reissues of Heatwave (race car), Bumblebee (rock crawler), Chase (police car), and Brushfire, in Academy packaging.

    One would expect it to be the other Grimlock, considering Bumblebee's team is on Earth and they have ties with the big Rescue Bots. But this one looks more like FOC Grimlock, and I like to think he is.

    I bought Whirl and Grimlock off Amazon as soon as they were in stock, and they arrived in Australia on the 4th of September.
    They are both wave 1 of Rescue Bots Academy Rescan Bots, while the new redeco Medix is wave 2... which was actually on Amazon a month before wave 1, as I ended up getting Medix arriving in the mail on August 2nd.

    That response sounds like she was blindsided by the question and didn’t have an answer, which probably means no thought went into it other than “Grimlock”.

    Hmm...I picked up both the new Medix and Hot Shot (rescue boat) in June, but didn't see any of Medix's wavemates from wave 2 (listed above), so he (and Hot Shot) had to be part of some revision wave prior to the wave 2 or something.
