    Just saw this at my local target in San Antonio, TX. The package showed a bumblebee released as well but this was the only one left.

    First time I've seen this version of Optimus, also he has electronic sounds, so he's a higher price point, plus the other one was packaged with Cody.

    Looks like they took a page from the DOTM Revving Robots and I like his helmet. :thumb

    I really like the artwork on the right side, and I guess it's mimick is a spinning light-up double chainsaw. :u

    Yeah, this seems new to me as well. All I knew about was the half translucent bots.

    They hardly announce or show in advance anything from the Rescue Bots line. The new toys just show up on shelves (like Hoist and Medix).

    How big is this Prime? Is it comparable to the electronic Chase and Heatwave figures?

    As far as I know he and Bumblebee are the same size as the other electronic figs (Chase and Heatwave). I have a set coming to me (should be here next week). I'll post pics of them along with Heatwave and Chase to compare! Here's a pic that I posted in another forum of the two that I bought:

    There's also a pic of BLADES from this line at the SDCC convention, but he's not a part of this wave and isn't on the back of the boxes.
