hey all, after seeing some pics on here I decided to get generations warpath and add him to my prime autobots, my question is, are there any other figures that fit the prime aesthetic well, for either the decepticons or autobots? I know when i get him foc grimlock will be put on the prime shelf because of the comics but are there any others?

The Animated line has similar proportions.

I don't think anything not originally from Prime fits the aesthetic, it's just too distinctive. Prime doesn't have any real mechanical details like Movieverse and Classics, while all the metal plates/sheets/angular things is too complex compared to Animated.

I could see Seaspray, Lugnut, Lockdown, and the club Slipstream obviously fits.

Thought there was a recent thread about this very same subject. But ROTF Bludgeon with the Blood head/swords upgrade may be a good fit too (especially if you're looking to give TFP Ultra Magnus a nemesis or something).

FOC/WFC figures work well, but they're the same universe anyway.

^ He's a bit small. I prefer DOTM Voyager Shockwave.

Movie Shockwave does not fit into Prime AT ALL. It's your collection so do what you think looks cool but to me, I'd cringe every time I see it.

TFC's Phantom might fit. He's even got the spiky knee pads.

Here is the master list of all the toys that fit into the prime line:
    Animated cheetor
    G1 wildrider
    Happy Meal Beast Wars Rhino
    Voltron
    A zesty bean burrito

seriously people, why must everything be shoe-horned together? all it does is make your shelves a jumbled mess.

Cringe away. =) He looks better to me size-wise. FoC Shockwave is simply too small for my tastes. Standing in the back of a display, DOTM Shocky makes a good stand-in up until we get a real TFP Voyager Shockwave (hopefully in the Beast Hunters or AM line).

Why get all bent out of shape over how other people display their figs?

it is just a pet peeve of mine, everyone seems to just throw any group of figures together, no matter how much their astetics clash, and say they look perfect, its just very distracting and not very good to look at

and DOTM shockwave does not fit in.at.all

Says you. Others will say otherwise, despite all the silly fan-rage hyperbole. It's all optional, man. A DOTM Shockwave (dude was huge in the show) hulking in the back of a TFP display is better than a FOC Shockwave looking way too shrimpy in the front, to me.
