I love that repros give us the ability to customize the appearance of our toys. I wanted to share my MP Autobots as I have deco'ed them up.

Do you Repro your MP scale toys? What gave been your experiences with using Reprolabels?

(Huffer and Gears not shown because they don't have Repro sets yet).

I just did Contactshot the other day as my first experience with MP reprolabels. I thought I would just do one or two from the sheet, but then it looked so good I did almost all of them. Really happy with the results!

Sometimes Reprolabels can be too much, but on the officials specifically Wheeljack, Ratchet, Prowl, and Smokescreen really needed them.

I use them sparingly. So far only UT Allen and Sworder. Didn’t use them all either. Couple of them raised up after a while too which I don’t like obviously

I do not. They look nice sometimes but I do not want stickers on my collectibles. Tampos and paint apps are highly preferred.

For most toys, I end up using only a fraction of the labels. However, for the 3 racers (Prowl, Mirage and Wheeljack), I go to town on the livery.

So what do you do with someone like Masterpiece Laserwave or Ratchet, where Takara decided not to tampo, but included sticker sheets?

They are so far behind in shipping right now, that I wouldn't expect new stuff from them until February at best.

Right now I have none. I am really alarmed by their pricing policy. You can see sets in there that are definently a must for a figure, contain a ton of stickers and are priced rightly and then you have some others than are priced horendusly and miss the mark off completely.

Ultimately though, in my mind they are needed. It seems that in its infinite wisdom TT (that is probably derived from the fanbases infinite wisdom) ommited certain detailing in order to cut corners, hence where those sets come right in.

Eventually I plan on reproing most, if not all of my figures despite my thoughts on the matter.

Hopefully, they will do another 1/2 price sale. $32 was more than I wanted to spend on Devastator. However, $16 to deco 6 bots seemed pretty reasonable.

Ill tell you what I did with my G1 prime that was in need of new stickers: I spent considerably less than what Toyhax asks on a KO prime and I got those stickers instead which had no difference. Meanwhile I was left with an unstikered KO that I plan on customizing.

    Makes you wonder really....

I don't use them and/or I choose an alternative product. I have Voodoo Salus as my Ratchet and I while I have MP-29, he stays in gun form and I have QuakeBlast for Shockwave for now.

I reprolabel everything. I've even bought figures just because they made sets for them.

I do wish they'd experiment with dry rubs though. Those actually look better on MPs especially.

I tend not to use them often, especially for MP stuff. Lately it seems like there's one or two spots I think could use a little extra detail but the designer goes nuts and designs a sticker for every flat surface the toy has, so the set winds up being $20+ when I'd actually use maybe a quarter of the set. Really, I wish they'd just do a sheet of nothing but license plates.

There are a few exceptions. I do stock up on faction symbols. And if the alt mode is an emergency vehicle, like a police car or ambulance, I want them to have realistic markings.

Yeah, I don't order much from them. I'm ordering for overkill half of the time. They won't hesitate to make stickers that go over greeble. Strange choice.

I will buy the hell out of their inevitable Voltron Classic set.

I'm still waiting for my black friday order which is pretty disappointing.

That being said, when they do arrive - I am stoked to pimp out alot of the autobot cars. I think the sports cars which by their very nature have a cluttered look with all the logos, etc - are perfect candidates for reprolabels. I'm a bit hesitant to go crazy on the stickers since the prospect of scrapeage or peeling is a concern, but I don't transform my figures often (rarely if ever) so if it helps their shelf presence - I'm down for em.

I figure spending a lot on stickers is part of my TF hobby. All my Mps have repros on them, I'm pretty sure my cost is over $400 on stickers so far. I think the best set however goes to TR Fort Max. 20171221_233107.jpg He's so much better with them on.

I cannibalised some stickers for Ironhide & Ratchet, Used only a few for Trailbreaker, Shouldn't have done the floor trailer for Optimus Prime but Ratchet is improved with them. Only used a couple for Grimlock but really wanted the teeth. It's the little details on Brawn which really improve him. Jazz, Wheeljack, Sunstreaker and Mirage are a must. I used the Sentinal Blaze stickers for Sideswipe and really like soundwave especially the eyes with them added. Some I only got due to the half-price sale. I think the key is to use sparingly.
