Well, it eventually worked, I love the Chromia set, not liking the Arcee set, the only ones I've managed to get trough so far. I dig the Bombshell set, but really, he looks nice as is.
Would somebody PLEASE offer to make ReproLabels a modern website/store interface? That thing is goddamn terrible and makes me want to not buy from them. Jesus.
That Combiner Wars prime set is such a mixed bag, there is some desperately needed accents, but on the other hand so much wasted going over parts that actually managed to get paint! The Matrix chamber is nice, the yellow accents on the arms and legs, the blue on the leg plates on the combined mode, the red covers for the gray in cab mode, the lights for the feet, red torso accents. All perfect! But then we get to the waste, the black windows, stickers for silver above the cab mode headlights in a slightly different shade of silver, the preexisting Autobot symbols on the shoulders were fine. All that going on covering up existing deco and the feet are left grey in this set. Will pick it up for the needed highlights and fixes, and maybe I can find other figures that can use the windows and shoulder squares with some trimming.
Agreed about the Optimus set being overkill. Actually, a LOT of their sets are that way. Usually I just want a few key accents and details, but instead they make huge $10-15 sets that have a lot of superfluous stuff. (i.e., Bombshell's hypno-details.) I still love reprolabels, but they'd get a lot more of my money if they offered less extensive sets for lots of the figures. (Like the Datsun MP's, MP10, Blitzwing, Brainstorm... etc.)
OMG...I been reading other news articles in between waiting for pics to load...................so far Damn the Jetfire Macross set look nice. Mix and match with the other one and you can achieve perfection. Chromia looks awesome too. I love that they are doing these hexagonal "IDW energon glow" details for these figures. Makes them look real lively. Waiting on the rest of the site.............sigh.......
A lot of really overdone sets anymore. Don't get the love for tons of stickers on well-painted modern toys like Masterpiece and 3rd party. Still waiting on G1 Godbomber stickers.
yeah all I order much anymore are the faction symbols but I do want the sets for fireflight and skydive. I think I will wait and order tomorrow when the site traffic slows down. they definitely need an upgrade and new categories instead of cramming everything together where you cant find it.

Exactly. I usually love like 1/2 of the stickers in every set. Like MP Magnus, the real world details like lights, etc and a few accents here and there would be perfect. I will probably get their RID line sets though cause much like their Prime ones they make the bots look more accurate to the source material instead of going overboard.
