Well after about a year of my wonderful little babies all following the rule of not touching daddies tawys, my youngest, Talia, grabbed my Supreme class TFP Predaking and ended his life. I had done a lot of sculpting on the head that didnt survive her assault so I ditched the figure for parts. R.I.P. Inspired by Zigholtul's eye catching recent repaint of the later voyager version, I got myself one of those for $20 and repainted it to replace the vastly overpriced and less cool broken one. I went for a darker look this time around.
supreme class? you mean the beast fire 1? and im sorry to here about your loss. i hope a hand found its way to an ass deserving of a smack
Lol she just turned 3 so I only have myself to blame. And yeah I think it is called beast fire or something. The big $70 one.
My condolences. I love that Predaking, especially since I got mine for $15, haha. This is very nice work, as per usual!
It always amazes me how much a proper paint job accentuates this particular Predaking mold. Excellent Job. :]
And so another one out there realizes just how awesome and bad ass this figure is with the proper paint job because that clear dark purple look it originally had was terrible. If I had to offer any critique it would involve the sword as it could use some paint to better make it pop. Despite that the figure looks incredible and this is something that we should be expecting from Takara given the higher prices.
nice paint job sory to hear about the last one but realy if you got through a year with only one damaged figure you have done a great job bringing the kids up. most kids i know just keeep going for things especialy things they are not suposed to go for
Hah well I should probably tell the whole truth. It wasnt JUST Talia breaking a styrene horn and his front fangs off the head that killed the more expensive Predaking... My attempt to fix it wasn't going well and I could tell it would end up much more fragile than before so in frustration I sort of tossed the whole thing over my shoulder and gave up for the time being. When I picked it up later it was broken in another spot too that made him fodder box ready.
Loooooooove this man. I actually have 2 of these figures waiting for paint. You have inspired me, maybe I will bust one out too. Love your color choices.
