I want to repaint the all the yellow on Springer so it looks more uniform. I got testors model masters chrome yellow and lightened it up with white but can't get it to look right. Then i bought tamiya lemon yellow and lightened that with white too. That looks even crappier. Before i waste anymore money and paint can someone suggest a good color? I'm thinking model masters cadmium light yellow.

Did you prime the yellow bits before painting? Maybe use a silver base for a more metallic look?

I'm still debating on how to customize my Springer, but that yellow definitely needs to change

What I meant was I was having a hard time mixing the paints to get a nice light yellow. I added a little bit of gray to the lemon yellow and white and it worked out fine.
