Okay, so as I'm rounding up all my Cybertron figs that were in the show, I'm gonna give them new coats of paint. So, how should I add wear&tear details to each figure as I go?

    The figures I have:
    Scattorshot
    Overhaul
    Undermine
    Brakedown
    Hot Shot
    Dirt Boss
    Landmine
    Scourge

Yeah, I don't have that many but I also had Red Alert and Clocker, but they broke.

How rough do you want them to look?

    Dremel

    Wash

    Dry brush.

Obviously, if you want them very worn, then you want to really have at it with the Dremel. Alternatively, I have succeeded with a hobby knife, and flicking it over the piece repeatedly to leave cuts. Obviously, if you're not used to handling a blade or you're not very confident in your dexterity, don't. I did it mainly because I was extremely depressed that day and didn't have any common sense at the time. It was a stupidly dangerous idea to not use a clamp (I held the piece with my hand), but I got away cut-free and unit is not scarred. For results, search for "Bypass Breacher's New Targetmaster" over in Radicons Customs.

While not dremeling them, I was thinking:
Grime for Hot Shot and Breakdown
Mud and grass stains for Scattorshot and Overhaul
Dirt, mud and chipped paint for Landmine and Dirt Boss
A new coat of paint to look more organic for Backstop, Undermine and Scourge.
