I love how the art looks modern but the posing and overhead villain and the smiles are super old school/classic. It's a very comfortable look to me.

A card game but instead of buying blind packs it's all in the box and you set out cards in a grid and can battle and defeat or spend a resource to buy the card to add to your deck. Sometimes have a mechanic to remove cards as well to balance your deck.

Is there a release time frame? I see the PR one is coming this month, but didn’t see a release date on that page anywhere (unless I missed it)

It might be during Gen Con or at least it’s original weekend, with the con being pushed back to middle of September (it’s original weekend was the first weekend of August).
It would be awesome to have the official reveal there.

I was just about to ask this myself, and I have to say this sounds a LOT more appealing to me than the CCG did. Absolutely going to pick this up when I can!

Is this our first look at Evergreen Ironhide? If so, he looks really fucking good. I wish they’d stop using those, as G1 (and to another extend, bay) is more evergreen than these, and G1 makes these redundant.

This only proves good point only people who play transformers games buy toys buy comics watch cartoons are original fans.,

lice action movies saved and rebirth transformers to new fans if not for movies new fans will never like transformers begin transformers will never be popular again that is positive thing to look at live action movies that NO cartoons comics toys and games could have NEVER EVER done the impossible.,

that other transformer card game died quickly only people seem be interested in those cards are people who go on this site NOT new transformer fans looks like it be same thing all over again only people who will buy this game and monopoly transformers are original transformers fans that go sites such as this game won’t last long if it’s only up to old transformer fans keep it going make money on it

From what I can decipher from your rant you’re annoyed that this isn’t movieverse themed, but the reality is that the kind of people that will buy a board game to play with their friends are probably not the kind of people that enjoyed the Bay films.

    thanks!

I've never played one of these types of games before (a buddy had just started a "dudes monthly gaming group" at a cool gaming cafe early last year, and we met twice before Pandemic kicked in), is anyone familiar with this system? are the mechanics fun? Wondering if it's something my kiddos would dig.

yeah, while REALLY nicely drawn on this artwork, I just don't get the evergreen designs.

They're overall like 75+% G1 ANYWAYS, why not just own it? Slightly simplified ER designs are going to be more familiar and iconic to a broader audience, so again, why not just own it?
the weird middle ground is a strange place to be.

I think they can be fun and have enough depth that kids can do them with some reading help, age depending, while offering more strategy for those who are older and that’s a thing they seek.
