I was at a local TF gathering in Vancouver at a store called Gotham Collectibles. Rendersform was there and unveiled some new products. Hopefully you guys can see what the new products are by the pictures

Oooo... swords, shields, and a new Grapple head?

 

Shields are interesting... Would be cool if there were purple ones shaped like the Decepticon logo...

  that Erector head ... well played, very well played. I might just pick one of those up!

 

What I would give to have someone make the box heads for Inferno and Grapple. One mould two figures. Except Inferno would need the wings on the side. Add the laser hand and you got yourself a little upgrade kit.

 

I think I'd prefer the Erector head on the TF movie 1 Mudflap figure. Helps with the boner jokes.

It looks pretty darn cool, but I really like that figure as Grapple. However, since they've been going so cheap lately it wouldn't be all that expensive to get a 2nd for Erector...hrm.

That is an excellent idea.

Ordering these is not like ordering most other kits. They won't show up on BBTS and TFSource etc. Go to www.renderform.com and watch for updates that provide ordering information. Just be aware his stuff is more "garage" kit so sometimes it takes time, and sometimes he has a lot of rules for ordering. He likes to make sure people aren't buying several to resell, and also since he is a one man operation he wants to make sure his time is being used up so the stuff he makes gets used on toys as much as possible.

I've bought three kits from him so far and have been very happy with all of them.

 

I agree, the head looks okay on the Grapple figure, but the Mudflap redeco is a much better fit since the alt. mode much more closely resembles the "full" truck and trailer of the original Erector. Not to mention it's still kind of hard for some people to get the Grapple figure for a decent price, while the Mudflap mold remains ridiculously common, even for a TRU exclusive.

 

So the real question would be: does the new Erector head fit on the Mudflap TRU exclusive figure?

I like the blue and purple (Autobot & 'Con) weapon sets. Not fan of the orange and green tho. Orange works for Prime's axe or other "hand-replacement" weapons, but not for much else. Green is always "blech!" IMO. Hopefully when these go up for order you'll be able to choose the colour (as with most of his stuff, which I highly recommend BTW).

 

Addendum: As these are true garage kits and Venksta is making about 300 at most and not 5,000 do not expect Fansproject or even Perfect Effect prices for them. If you have concerns about paying $30 for a new head and some guns keep in mind that these are not for the casual collector and if you snooze you lose. The Nato-Bot Roadbuster kits are now going for over $100 and I don't even know what the pre-Fansproject Cliffjumper is going for now.

WOW! the erector head is immpressive, It really suprises me though that he's doing a vortex head and not A)Whirl or B) Rotorstorm.

 

If I had a United Bee I would totally get that Goldbug head.
