Customs: Removing the paint from PotP Abominus

    I've had the two halves of Abominus's head soaking in 91% Isopropyl Alcohol for over 24 hours and the paint is still completely intact.

    Does this method not work for more modern figures?

    I've tried Tea Tree Oil and Denatured Alcohol, neither of those work either. :(

    No movement? Have you tried hitting the pieces with a stiff bristled tooth brush?

    Oh lord...Don't tell me yours has what my PotP Darkwing had with his left wing... that paint was practically dyed on it!

    No movement when trying to brush it off.

    I want to expose the purple plastic underneath to do a cartoon based deco. Since it's molded in that purple color. I'd prefer this to painting the purple.
