so after buying every ROTF deluxe including smokescreen I couldnt help but say screw it and throw in a Desert Brawl. I totally missed it in the early reviews of this toys that his arms had been remolded. All I can say now is:

OMG I LOVE BRAWL!!!!!!

The original arm design was so annoying that it made you not notice how cool the rest of the toy was. With this issue fixed I can say this is now one of the my favorite deluxes out of both lines. I love him, seriously.

Edit to elaborate:
the arms now have a hook of sorts on the peg and the inside of the whole has been modded to catch the hole

I didn't think the mold was too bad, except for the lame shoulder issue. Tank mode is cooler than the leader Brawl too imo.

 

He's probably pretty sweet, but I already have both leader Brawls from the first movie..and being a sucker for in-scale TFs..I really have no need for a deluxe one..

I've always loved Movie Brawl.

If I get the repaint, I'll call him Armourhide.

How about various displays, each only with the on they're in scale with?  

 

I like the deluxe one because he is in scale with voyager blackout and deluxe bonecrusher and legends jazz

 

I bought the deluxe one because Deluxe class and smaller is where it's at.

Leaders... Not fun to fiddle with.

 

That's really cool. I did'nt know it was was retooled. More of a reason to grab a couple brawls.

Yeah I have the first deluxe and the allspark deluxe brawl around, then the legend, and the two leaders.

Its a very fun tank design in any size. Their also going to repaint legends brawl later on for rotf.

I was fairly happy with my first one anyway, but it's nice to see Hasbro have actually gone back and fixed something for once. Of course the problem shouldn't have been there to begin with.

Nice to know that they fixed the shoulders. This is one of my most anticipated figures. I always wanted the movie 1 leader desert brawl, but never had the money for him at the time. I'm also not a big fan of leader class figures. This is a great replacement for it. The desert camo works really well for the mold, and the mold over-all is win.

 

i have leader dd brawl and i perfer him over the deluxe anyday

 

Oh great. It's not enough that they're releasing new stuff I want, now I have reason to buy toys I've already got. DAMN YOU, HASBRO!!!

Maybe those of us with the original Brawl should get a discount on this one?

 

Agree totally. Should have been one of the best TFM deluxes. Now he can take his rightful place among the elite.

 

Do the two small-turret-machine-gun-rocket-launcher-things on his back still fall off easily?

 

Good about the shoulders, but still not getting it because on non-Universe figs I just get one of each mold, and frankly I'm not willing to put forth the effort to buy the new one and get rid of the first version in this instance.
