I really hate Revoltech, but I'm glad this is getting released for all the people for whatever reason wanted a Michiyamenotehi Funana inspired somewhat-articulated figure that can't hold some of its accessories and missed out on it the first time. I remember it selling for a huge amount prior.

I always hated that they used Pat Lee's art as inspiration of this...

I don't think any of the other "Legacy" releases have been any different than the originals. Even Alucard from Hellsing still has the wrong colored coat. So I doubt this will be any different.

Well, the hands and head won't even stay on mine anymore.
In fact, every Revoltech I've bought has broken somewhere along the line.
    So... buyer beware.

Nice. I wonder if Megatron and Starscream are far behind this release? Maybe offer the Seeker mold in redeco's like Skywarp and Thundercracker? Those would sell like hot cakes, I'm sure, especially since Custom Robots are supplementing the Revoltech line with their own figures too.

As far as the Pat Lee aesthetic, it takes some getting used to but I think they went with such a simplified, stylized design on purpose due to the small size point of these figures (about Scout size). Doesn't change the fact that they're very poseable and fun figures. I already own Optimus though so unless this release includes some extra accessories such as an energon axe to plug into Prime's forearm, I'll probably pass.

If they're rereleasing this, can they get around to finally redecoing this into Black Convoy and Starscream into Skywarp and Thundercracker?

I know Revoltechs aren't popular as other Japanese action figure lines, but I still like the Transformer ones they did, so Pat Lee art or no, it's nice to see it get a rerelease for those that were interested in one.

Damnit, I was hoping this would be DOTM Prime as he now fetches ridiculous prices. Isn't this one still really easy to come by?

I don't know what to think of this. I mean, I'll probably buy it since I only have Rodimus and I love the look of the Revoltech Transformers, but Revoltech.... it just isn't good. I've already pre-ordered the Ninja Turtles, and I'm scared at how they might turn out (but they might also turn out well), but it's so hard to say no to such great-looking figures. Hopefully they actually ARE great, though, because my Rodimus broke when I tried to change a hand.

Lots of Pat Lee hate, though, which is sad. The man has some great art. I really like his Transformers, personally. Sure, they're stylised (and often very super robot-esque), but that doesn't mean they're bad.

I have him (and Megs, Magnus, Roddy and Screamer too), release the Starscream mold as Skywarp and Thundercracker.. and possibly Sunstorm and I'll buy them.

He is ok, but that mold is probably my least favourite of the four molds of Revoltechs Dreamwave-styled transformer figures.

Yeah, he's really not as good as he looks. Unless you have some adoration for Pat Lee's style, there are many more Primes out there that are more detailed and easier to pose that STILL transform.

(and the gun just flops out of the hand if you move him)

The Autobot logos on his shoulders are different, but that looks to be about it.
