It's a nice thought, but the shinies have been shown off and they must have them. I truly do hope that just a few who were teetering on whether or not the 'fan club' is worth it or not, don't. It's not worth your time, patience and most importantly, money.

I missed it too... and I can't figure out how to add to an existing order without going through from the start and buying another boxset.

    Amen to that.

Had no luck with different browsers or phone or second computer. Tried phone again. Had luck. Then got taken right past the add-on tab with no way to click on it, since the tabs don't show up on mobile--also had a random shipping charge show up. Gave up; went back to Chrome on computer. Finally success! Got my Frank Welker pass.

    [Tremendous sigh of relief]

Yeah I got charged for something I removed. The second to last page showed the correct items and cost, after I had confirmed it the removed stuff had been put back on. Had just enough on my credit card to cover it so I can worry about sorting it out later.

    Um...what?

"I Brian Fakename take full responsibility for this fuck up. It was Pete Bullshittersfault...but I take full responsibility."

By passing the blame to the subcontractor publicly you: A) Show what kind of amateur shit show you're running. B) You put your integrity or lack thereof out for all to see.

I suppose only people that deal with subcontractors on behalf of customers will understand, but if I go to my morning meetings and tell Lockheed or Virgin or SpaceX that they aren't getting their finished parts/designs because the company that I buy titanium from sold me material they didn't have, they'll look at me confused. The customer doesn't and shouldn't give half a fuck about why/what a subcontractor your company chose to do, did. Your company was contracted to do this work, your company subbed out the work to company X. This is your companies problem. The choice and details of the subbed out work is your fault.

I'm assuming you have no experience with subcontractors but are being an understanding guy. It's admirable, but the subcontractors a company does business with are an extension of that business. The correct response by Botcon was "We had several issues handling the load of traffic, but we are going to X and X."

I'm telling you man, my idea of renting vans and selling $40-50 seats, and calling it the Not-Botcon Shuttle could be a goldmine.

I can't register for a non-attendee set. I click the non-attendee button and it starts the process over. Is this because they are already sold out?

They said in a previous email that they were going to only open it up to attendees today.
